I'm getting the wrong materials from some of my hirelings. V4 characters are getting level 30-40 mats. I had been in those sub vet zones last week to use up some of those ce maps. Not sure if that had anything to do with it or not.
Anybody else experiencing this bug?

✭its not about the level, you need to put skill points into full blacksmithing/woodworking/clothing so you can craft vr12 stuff
and still you will get low level mats1 -
WyndStryke✭✭✭@Artemiisia is right, the smithing skill level is more important than your character's level. My VR1 gets worse mats than my L10 crafter chars (who have much higher crafting skills).0 -

✭Sorry guys, should have mentioned those V4 characters are all maxed out in crafting and have been for some time. This is a bug that just started for me.
Also I don't even have any level 30-40 characters right now (and haven't for months). I have a few bag alts and a level 15 and the rest are vets. So I find the choice of materials being sent odd. That's why I mentioned the ce maps because they were in those zone levels.Edited by Evergnar on July 28, 2014 5:15PM1 -
Mortuum✭✭✭✭OP is kinda right, as my vr12(indeed not important) 50blacksmith(important) recently got mails from 3/3 hireling with quicksilver ores, and even 1 tier lower. Does not happen all time, but i had maybe 5-8 like that. So there is something a bit wrong.
Woodworker always getting correct, top tier wood, but blacksmith hireling is just lazy and using lower lvl zones to farm ;p1 -
