Hard mode Mage in the AA trials buged?

We tested to do AA trials on hardmode... And the mage never jumped down. Buged or?

Sunrock✭✭✭Ok maybe should explain what happen a bit better. After we cleared the first trash and the second trash Strom Atronarch started to spawn and kept spawning but the mage just sat there and watched... we most have killed maybe 15 +/- a few and nothing happened.0
