It's amazing that when some people don't understand something they immediately think hacks, cheats and conspiracy.
cant you use a more original insult besides" tinfoil hat"? lol. its not even insulting anymore. its just funny. and apparently, a very few people seem to think winning is that important. if people in this game are willing to camp at a gatespawn for hours, so they have no competition, im sure crashing the server is not too low for them. they all have brains, and have common sense. they know what they do shuts down the server, yet they still do it. that, or they are unintentionally doing it(which I hope is the case) either way, the servers just need workNookyZooky wrote: »frowhat iv seen, it only crashes like that when Dc zergs up. never during a huge battle for a resource, or a keep. only when Dc zerg balls up and spams all that healing and the rest of that crap. dude, winning is NOT that important that it's worth shutting down the game, lol. tinfoil hat inc.

Yesterday the same thing. I called it right before it happened. 80 or so EP rushed through a breach in BRK and about 200 DC rushed in right behind them. KABOOM.
Weren't we promised a lag-free experience in this game? LOL

It is lag free....just not crash free.

The problem is a large number of players being in the same area. This occurs on all factions due to people attacking/defending keeps. At the time of the lagfest both AD and EP were pushing scrolls in DC home keeps. Pretty much everybody from all factions were in the area. (With the exception of the DC group off oil farming in saj). I'm not sure how that is DC's fault.
Seriously folks, the server/code is the problem stop trying to blame a single faction.

AD and EP were both pushing at the same time because they couldn't combat the DC zerg alone. They fought numbers with numbers. But you're right you want to get rid of this ***, remove the AOE cap. Until then, DC will zerg first, EP and AD will respond accordingly.

Lol when AD or EP zergs its a response and when DC zergs its an attempt at an exploit. My goodness, people have started to act ridiculous since DC has become a real threat of taking first place. First we were working together with AD and now we are bringing down the server while we are attacking a keep hoping that when the server rolls back the keep will belong to us.
Ill tell you what, if we have to put a courtesy cap on group size then we should not allow players to use stun/root combos because those can bug out and cause a permanent CC when used together. After-all its the players fault, not the servers.
Anyone claiming it's not on purpose is an idiot. Before the server crashes and sometimes when it doesn't, the constant spam of healing springs (intentionally) causes skills to lock up so no one can attack. During this freeze period all you see is the DC zerg swarm both flags with 100 players each, capping both flags with superior numbers. Sometimes you'll even see them go back between flags completely ignoring the other alliance if they don't have that much of an advantage trying to cap. This has been observed by both factions and is the go to tactic for dethroning an AD or EP emp. You just can't be ignorant anymore to what's causing this. I agree ZOS needs to fix their servers, but doesn't take any blame away from DC.
hes right, but its not all of us that are doing this. its only a single group.
When the server is locked for all 3 factions DC doesn't have any more players than the other factions.
At the time of the lag fest. Pretty much all of EP, AD, and DC were in the two DC home keeps. With a huge pile of EP stacked on a scroll outside one of them. Not exactly sure how it's only "DC megazergs" that are contributing to the problem.

Well actually the "bot train" started spamming tells to us after we wiped them a few times. BTW we only have about 30.

You got messaged by bots? Interesting

Why are you guys in denial? No it's just DC (by that I mean the zerglings in that blueberry blob) that zerg this much right now and yes it's causing server crashes and rollbacks. Even your own faction admits it.
I don't mind the zerging really. Just stating what is.
you don't need 60-100 people to take chalman. it is the servers and ZOSs fault. but people don't need to contribute to the problem, when they know they are going to contribute to it. you DO NOT need 60-100 people, to take ONE keep. you just don't. an emperor keep, yes. but a "regular" keep? NO. when you get all of those people together, it causes lag, delay, and the entire server to crash. all you need, is 20-30(less) people, that know what they are doing, to take a keep. not a huge blob spamming AOEs of all kinds. until this server crashing is fixed, people need to find another way to take a keep besides getting in a giant blob and crashing the server. this applies to ALL the alliances.Perphection wrote: »Perphection wrote: »DC really can be blamed for many of the server problems as of late. yeah... blame aoe caps ............................................................................
because the server having to calculate an aoe hitting 200 people is going to be easier than 6..........................

I blame AoE attacks, remove them entirely.
(actually it would be a neat thing if there was an AoE less campaign with the exception of siege, and not Oil please).
