Not all Dumer are slavers... Mostly House Dres which a lot of Dunmer detest as well and House Telvanni which is not part of the Pact...

(http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/121283/which-race-would-you-like-to-see-on-teso-and-why/p1), I saw that a lot of people care about the lore. This may not be a new thing to TES players, but in all MMOs the lore fans are very low. Not many even care about lore. I'm very glad to see a lot of ESO players do care about lore. It does make ZoS's job harder with new content though.
P.S Dragon Break!

Huge trite assumption I disagree with. Lore and storyline have always been fairly important and of interest to myself and the PvE folks I've guilded with. Please don't try to further crimp open the supposed divide between players who have mainly a background of pc MMO's and those who have primarily played single player games.
I have plenty of friends who played the ES games and while they may read some of the lore, they were most interested in their armor, stats, the huge map/exploring and/or combat.
Really, MMO'rs can read too and may even, *gasp, enjoy and actually be able to immerse themselves in the lore AT THE SAME TIME THEY ENJOY BEING COMPETITIVE!!
having played MMOs before TES, I agree that most MMO'rs don't care about lore.
You might, but most don't.
WoW is even doing away with the pesky fluff for their newer quests.

Well I do have to agree with you there, but before the pact formed (correct me if I am wrong) most houses kept slaves. But you can also find slaves on plantations, farms and inns that have nothing to do with the house of dress/telavanni.

Before and after the pact, many of the plantation owners had slaves. But there have been Dunmer that fought against slavery... often times the younger female Dunmer family members of some of the worst offenders...

Hey, its not my Dunmer's fault that argonians make perfect Kwama miners, and he makes a perfect overseer. Do what you're good at!
I love the lore, but I will admit to tuning out a bit when it comes to the more "historical" bits. For example, I love the DC storyline, but I have no idea who the Direnni or the Alessians are.

You mean how the books were writen in the 3rd era by a guy in vivic
Yes it makes the backdrop real, and gives meaning to the motivations of each character we play. I expect cosmetic and game-play changes, they happen every time a new version comes out. The feel is more than elder scrolls enough for me. Take time to explore and chat to NPCs rather than rushing to the next waypoint, and it feels like an elder scrolls world. It can be Morrowind or WoW depending on how you play.
