Still , i wont be rerolling , too much work.
To be the coolest are the DK , would pick 2h/bow , even if yes , i understand it is not that good right now.
What don't you like about the Templar?
Templar skills are usually turned to the outside , supporting others.
The DK have similar skills , turned to itself and keep it alive.
To make a quick comparison of the very idea of the classes to me.
Both the DK and the Templar got an insta strong heal , the DK will use its green dragon blood and it will only hit itself , everytime , the templar can use it , but chances are it will hit another player and the templar will die (this one is beyond annoying sometimes :P.)
Both the DK and the Templar have a "shutdown" skill that seeks to close the magicka single target dmg , the templars is used on one enemy , closing it , if there are multiple hostiles , the templar is in trouble , but because it could close this enemy from atking other too , it balances out with the DKs , which will make all hits on him return. There is also the issue that the templars skill can be stopped if the enemy is too strong for it or in PvP you can break it also.
Anyway , i play mostly alone , i feel that the DK would be more around my alley.
Ok, so it's not so much that you have an issue with the templar class abilities, it's just that DK fits your playstyle better.
I think it's intended that way, though - dragonknights are self-oriented, they're tanks and damage dealers, they dont really do much to benefit the rest of a team outside of soaking up damage and some minor buffs. Templars, on the other hand, are built around the concept of group support through heals buffs, and other utility effects. That's one of the things I love about my templar though, I like playing a supporting character.
Poll should have also included
I don't have a favorite class
I like two or more classes equally
Lets get rid of classes entirely and just have skills.

That's my sentiments.. I usually prefer healer nukers with mage assassins second so I started as a Templar, but I won't be playing how I like until we have spell crafting....
