I like them all honestly. I have each characters, also all 3 alliances, vamp, werewolf, etc.. I think it's a great thing to mix it up and play multiple characters. My main though, is a NB VR12 so I must click that vote since it won't let me choose a few! I find Sorc a very fun alternative to NB since they are COMPLETELY different in almost every way.

Well, my DK is pretty much unbeatable, currently tearing through Coldharbour at L42. My KB at level 38 has problems that my level 32 Sorc handles with ease.

But, I like them all. Sneaking past mobs with my KB, spewing spells with my Sorc while her pets tank for her, getting all up close and personal with the mayhem with my DK.

I like them all so far. I just have to remember what each character can do. Sometimes I see myself tanking with my Sorc, and that never works for very long or trying to take things down from a distance with my DK.

Yes, I know they are all low leveled compared to VR Ranks, but I putter around in the game.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

I get bored with my DK so far but maybe that will change when I level it more. I have a lot of fun as a VR 12 NB and a Sorc that's on it's way. Templar --- I haven't put in enough time as one to truly tell but so far it seems okay.

Templar skills are usually turned to the outside , supporting others.

The DK have similar skills , turned to itself and keep it alive.

To make a quick comparison of the very idea of the classes to me.

Both the DK and the Templar got an insta strong heal , the DK will use its green dragon blood and it will only hit itself , everytime , the templar can use it , but chances are it will hit another player and the templar will die (this one is beyond annoying sometimes :P.)

Both the DK and the Templar have a "shutdown" skill that seeks to close the magicka single target dmg , the templars is used on one enemy , closing it , if there are multiple hostiles , the templar is in trouble , but because it could close this enemy from atking other too , it balances out with the DKs , which will make all hits on him return. There is also the issue that the templars skill can be stopped if the enemy is too strong for it or in PvP you can break it also.

Anyway , i play mostly alone , i feel that the DK would be more around my alley.

I've got a VR12 NB(my main....for now) that is okay, but I'm not a massive fan of the class overall. I only rolled a NB because I was enthralled by the idea of tanking with a NB with all of the life stealing and self heals. Sadly it was something I likely should have left in theory and went with the class I enjoyed most in beta which is the Templar. That still rings true. I've got my Templar up to about level 17 now and I just love the flavor of the class, it's more suited to my usual type of TES characters than the NB class is.

I also have a level 46 DK that I just hit a wall with and I don't even wanna touch him. Just lost my enjoyment of the class.

Ok, so it's not so much that you have an issue with the templar class abilities, it's just that DK fits your playstyle better.

I think it's intended that way, though - dragonknights are self-oriented, they're tanks and damage dealers, they dont really do much to benefit the rest of a team outside of soaking up damage and some minor buffs. Templars, on the other hand, are built around the concept of group support through heals buffs, and other utility effects. That's one of the things I love about my templar though, I like playing a supporting character.

My templar started out with 2h mauls, heavy armor, and the idea of being a paladin-esque damage dealer that could offheal and buff allies in combat. I quickly abandoned that playstyle when, while levelling, I found the build extremely ineffective (that was back before any of the stamina changes). I ended up going with a resto staff / caster setup in light armor, sunmage or whatever you want to call it, and since have been doing remarkably well.

My nightblade started out similarly - as a 2handed, medium armor "barbarian-themed" damage dealer - I wanted a character that relied mostly on a big mean weapon, and didnt have super flashy spells or effects like the DK or sorceror or templar. I ended up going from 2handed to dual wield, and then to sword and shield, and then to bow (all before the stamina buffs), and eventually just gave up and went light armor with destro + resto staffs. That got me into vet ranks and beyond with my nightblade, but even though the warlock build can be fun it isnt what i want the character to be.

After the patch with the new set changes, free respec, etc. I'm going to be changing both of the characters back to the builds I had originally intended for them, more or less. My templar will be using 1h/shield on one bar and two handed on the other, and be set up as a tank and support damage dealer. My nightblade will be using dual wield on one bar and two handed on the other, and be set up as a crit-based damage dealer.

I may not be as effective as I was using caster builds, but I'm so tired of the staff playstyle now I cant stand it anymore.
