If there is one thing the thread about the dog proved , is that they dont.
Only small thing i get from all this , is that now it takes me less than 5 minutes to convice someone im talking about the game to give up buying.
Yes, we had that discussion on the other thread and am wondering if you will be canceling your sub since you aren't interested in getting your friends to join.

Pfff , if i would cancel my sub because i made my friends avoid the game , i would have to go back in time to the first month. 4 friends of mine wondered about this , all 4 i made give up and to this day if they ask , the answer remains the same , those 4 i trust wont be joining heh.
The people i refer to today i would not call friends , more like people i know and that i talk with.
The reason i keep my sub , is because i very rarely return to MMO once i leave it , hell i think only once i did this of all the MMOs i played (which is a big list) , so before i quit ESO , im making sure i gave it the chances.

As to "puppy-gate," I've said in another thread that ZOS could have avoided a lot of brouhaha by making the Steam pet a Kwama Scrib or something else that would be as unwanted as a mudcrab. (Not all brouhaha, mind you. Somewhere out there. somebody is pining for a Kwama Scrib pet.)

I think it's more that you enjoy being unhappy and and making others unhappy. If you don't like a game to the point where you trash it to others, you aren't going to be of a mind that will have a positive effect on the community and really shouldn't play.

That maybe so, still , that is a call for me to make and i dont want to quit yet.
Unfortunately , playing only if i have a positive effect on the community is not one of my concerns.
If i dont like the direction zen takes things , i will voice it , if it has a negative effect , so be it.

Have you ever said anything positive about the game? Just curious.

I would rather have something a little less regular, perhaps once every 3 months - but have the gift be more meaningful (pets and mounts for example).

And enough with the puerile 'puppy-gate' crap.
grow up!
You give loyalty for loyalties sake, not because you act like some cheap person that needs to have some give you something to keep you loyal. again grow up

Believe me, there should never have been a need for "puppy-gate" in the first place, that is truly the puerile part.
I'm all for a loyalty program. Star Wars Galaxies is one of the games that did it right.

Here is a Revolutionary Game Idea............Why not just play the game and have some Fun? The Reward for playing a game should be Fun and Enjoyment. Instead some of you are wanting the Developers of Games to Reward you for playing their game with Materialistic items, rather than the game itself.

you really would be better off playing a single player game if you intend to only detract from other peoples' happiness and not try to improve the game for everyone.
It's just selfishness and it drags down the community with you.

Again , my call , but i will take your advise into consideration thank you.
What i intend to do , is speak my mind about the game , that is all.
If it is positive or negative , so be it , if it adds or takes from the overall happiness of the other players , so be it.
My general concept is selfish indeed , i have no intention of changing it either , still ,i do support some ideas that add to the whole concept of the community.
When i complain about the dog for example , you may see being something selfish , it is not , i see it like a big issue for all the players like who keep paying month after month that zen seems to have decided to make content for only new players.
Personally , like i said in another thread , i would probably never even use the dog myself even.

If it really was a bigger issue you would not also be expressing the selfish sentiments that come along with it.
Selfishness is a terrible trait, and very problematic in society. Not being taught to share as a child can ultimately lead to some very bad and criminal behavior.
TBH, that fact that you are completely unashamed of it says volumes about your upbringing.

Mate , like it or not , here im and here i will stay until the time comes when i dont feel like it , that simple.
And i will remain on the negative side of things, i do believe the best way to make a company understand is costing them money and creating bad PR , reason i do what i do.
Who knows , maybe if this story actually gets back to the devs a few times in the future by luck , they will even think twice before doing this crap a second time heh.
