    I hate the truly useless ones - the 0 gold ones since they just clog up your inventory. The ones that have traits on them and sell for gold don't really bother me and I actually like finding ones with traits on them since they're a no-brainer for consuming for research as opposed to deconstructing since they're not going to give tanins/tempers.

    I don't love it to death, but I like the idea and what I could be. Part of me wants each humanoid mob to drop his whole gear set as valueless whites, with the occasional valuable green drop to mimic ES games of old, and have better looting options such as "auto-loot on/ignore whites/off" also, if you are a smith with appropriate levels, this white gear should be redeemable once upgraded to green and beyond, to make exploring dropped gear a little more lively. Maybe upgrading it to green would reveal a potential hidden trait?

    Just my 2 cents as an ES player since daggerfall DOS days.

    I hate the way it is. I don't mind it if the items was limited to players choosing to pickup an item off a work table, rack but not as general loot.

    It's only white and "useless" because the justice system isn't in yet to steal things that are useful.

    this poll is pointless, because you're commenting on an incomplete system when we know that it won't be like this when the justice system is in.

    I love it and think its awesome!!!

    Not sure its LOVE , but it is like . Made a new character and wanted to try dual wield , skipped the beginning part so came out with a bow, a one handed sword and a two handed sword :\ .... Being able to locate another one handed weapon was a good thing .... If I don't like the stuff or just want to keep room in limited inv. for good stuff, I just delete it..

    Chose "other" because I "couldn't" care less. If I could care less, I would. But I can't. Sorry. I mean, I'm sure it's a problem for some people, but as per the poll, I just don't care.

    (Yes, I'm grammar-policing you. Sorry. :P Not to say there aren't possible problems with the grammar in my post, just that "I couldn't care less" vs. "I could care less" have two quite different meanings.)

    My Junkbuster automatically destroys it on pickup.
    No reason for me to keep it.

    The white gear you get from drops is not so bad. At least it has value for resell or deconstructed for mats. That junk they put in crates and other containers is worthless and I wish ZOS would remove it from those items. Especially since it effectively reduces the chances of getting something useful like a recipe, motif, etc. Also, I don't mind the junk gear that's out in the open like on tables, weapon racks, etc. If you need a piece of gear to use, then it's easily available.

    Two words: risk/reward. They are basically great ways to eat up glyphs you have no use for.

    Well, they still have not taken the 0 value crap outta the nodes. I REALLY HATE THIS because I farm nodes for motifs & provisioning. The white crap gimps the drop rate of good things!!! This shight pisses me off!

    As others have said, white stuff from mobs that actually has values/traits and are useful for research/deconning/selling, I like.

    The white stuff in backpacks/containers/etc. that has 0 value, no traits, and gives hardly any decon value I consider a nuisance. (and, I believe the devs already said that it was a bug)

    The white stuff that is just sitting around in the open, I'm neutral on. I guess it adds to the immersion, and would probably be useful in coldharbor prison/just after leaving, but after that, not so much. Maybe if there was a chance (however small) of it actually being something good would make it more appealing.

    i only hate the worms and crawlers in material nodes.

    whoever thought that was a good idea ....

    on the other side I have no problem finding white items in containers since i've located many researchable traits from these.

    The white gear can be deconstructed for leveling up a skill. The reason its worth 0 is because of gold famers.

    Yeah well, being able to pick up useless armor lying around as decoration is cool immersion wise...looting it from containers or mobs I was hoping to get mats, recipes etc from is a total no no for me though.
    If I have to deconstruct sucky white armor, at least let it be stuff with traits on them so I can have a chance of finding something I haven't researched yet...

    Its better than 1-3 gold and it gives you xp to deconstruct; I do wish they had more traits for research purposes.

    However ever I do despise the 0 gp weapons and armor in containers.
