It needs to stop and ZO folks you need to make a stand about all of this, your loyal customers are losing their fun about coming to this forum if these people are allowed to poison the forum every day. Another user already said that the forum influenced him due all the negativity - it just needs to stop.

When did blizzard make a pet that was only available if you purchased the game later than someone else?

Blizzcon pets store pets and all that isn't an issue and for every one store pet there are literally about 30+ obtainable pets in game. So far every pet except for one are purchased or promotional. Some people like to collect things - our subscription should at least pay for some of them in game.


Generally when you bring up blizzard or WoW in an MMO argument you nullify the entire thing.

A Human "cry" i would say express when something is wrong. Everyone have his own way to identify what is right what is wrong. But maybe when to much people "cry" you should stop you fanboy beeing and ask you "whats wrong there?".

Im not resubed yet since my account run out last week but it will depends how Zenimax manage this.

As many others im a "completist" in mmos. I dont have fun if the game is goot but i cant achive all. I define my fun of playing to set a Task and get them done. And when i see that someone have a grey hound and i cant have it, well why even play then. This is my way of having fun.

There are actually many pets and mounts that you don't get for your sub. Every time Blizz releases a specific treasure card, a mount or pet is added there. If you don't buy these cards, then you don't get them.

Same with the collectors edition, if you don't buy it, then you wont get these pets. If you don't invite a friend, then you don't get a unicorn. If you didn't participate in the Olympic event, then you didn't get I believe it was a cat and a tabard.

I didn't count them, but I am pretty sure that there are at least 50 or more items that were only available for specific events. And at ESO people cry about 1 item! Just think about this, one simple item! Also important is, that pets have no meaning at ESO - while at WOW they actually matter due the pet battles. There you actually gain an advantage with these pets, at ESO you don't and I am confident that they don't add Pokémon elements to ESO that soon either

As I said in another thread, if ESO would do like EA or Turbine & Arena net where you don't have access unless you pay, then yes I would definitely not be happy and quit. But right now, our subs cover everything the game has to offer. We don't need to spend a dime, its all in our 12 bucks and that's great.

Vanity pets are not important, especially if you consider that nobody can ever have them all due the way how they are given out like I explained at the Blizzard example.

Unless you go to every quake con, blizzcon, play every day, buy every package or card, sign up to every beta, alpha ... specific items will not be for you and this has been like that for many years now. People act like it would be their first MMO here ...

Playing wow over the years, I amassed quite a few items that aren't available to other players so it is quite amusing to see them blow a gasket over one dog.

What's funny about the pet battles, the store pets and the exclusive pets are the strongest in the game.

"Deserve" is a concept for small minds. Also, you're not even talking to someone who gives an iota of a crap about vanity pets. What you're seeing here is an entreaty to dis-involve yourself in attacking people for caring about a thing you do not personally care about. Losing the desire to attack people in general would be an added bonus.

When running a business based on retention you have to be mindful of creating an atmosphere for product retention.

This is a game and its entertainment, so if I ran the company I "WOULD" cater to my existing vocal customers. I "WOULD NOT" have created a situation to cause my vocal customers to be in an uproar.

But then again, this is just my opinion and I wouldn't have released a game that didn't have an endgame. (Maybe I would have drastically increased the exp to reach max level) so that VR12 is the equivalent of level 50.

Thats is just me tho and my opinions.

But as a Day1 player to start deny my personal way of complete the game so soon its a sad.

I think they should completely just focus on the in-game, rather than out-game, considering they're going to lose a lot of players in-game, and the % will be a decrease with in-game rather than out-game incoming.

Says you. A lot of people have been busy, not just WANTing, but making a case for why it'd be a reasonable thing for them to have access to the same thing other people have access to. Personally I find that a lot more compelling than the case against, which is busy murdering words like "entitlement" into complete unintelligibility.

Again, I don't care, so I have never asked for it. But I have personally seen it mentioned from time to time. Also, several posters in the last two days have claimed that they've requested a dog pet from Day One. I have zero reason to disbelieve them, just like you have zero reason to disbelieve me. Zero. Zip. Zilch. Nada.

What's ruined? How does people talking about an issue that you don't care about ruin anything for you? How does a compromise to make loyal customers happy ruin anything for you? The only ruining I see is coming from people who can't miss an opportunity to look down their nose at someone.

I would argue that you would be accurate more often if you assumed everyone was lying, as opposed to telling the truth.
