I would post my George Carlin STFU gif on every thread related to this subject, but I'd be moderated for sure and possibly banned for doing so.
I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
3) Difficulty slider.
4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.0 -

No, about people's attitudes dealing with entitlement.

epoling✭✭✭✭I don't get the folks who are upset about this. It really is just the same as the examples where a business gives a free item away with purchase but only for a limited time. Just because you want the dog pet (which you might pull out for a day or two then get tired of and store in your bank) does not make it different. It's like saying "Gee, I got Malibu Stacey last month but now she has a new hat. The maker's of Malibu Stacey owe me the new hat." Yes - this dog thing is exactly the same thing and no they don't owe you a dog pet just because you want it. You can say it isn't the same thing until the cows come home but it doesn't change the logic of if. By this logic every pre-order special should be available to anybody that wants it, every collectors edition item needs to be made available - you can never have something exclusive as a marketing tool. (By the way - SOE live is coming up - should I be upset that every year they give away a free in-game item only to attendees?)1 -

Personally I avoid games where there is a big focus on vanity marketing because when I like to play a game, I want the full experience. I came to ESO with the hope that the oldschool mechanics would come with oldschool respect.
I fully respect your opinion, I just empathize with people who want a full experience, no matter how small. Hell, that's how games like pokemon and animal crossing become so popular.1 -

I'm really sorry to hear about your affliction, but I fail to see why you think you can blame Zenimax for the fact that you have crabs. Isn't this more a reflection of your own hygiene and habits?

The wolfhound crisis...how did you even came up with this name? Its just a useless pet that does nothing but clutter ur inventory. There is no issue. They are bringin in new people by offering them unique reward that won't give them advantage but will allow them to stand out. Thats is a good move in my opinion.
P.S. Sorry i didn't read whole wall of text but i'm under the impression that OP is unhappy cuz he didn't recieve a dog so he cancelled his sub and quit the game cuz he cant play the way he want and the game will die tomorrow anyway. I'll respectfully disagree. The OP presented a well-reasoned explanation of why he was upset by the pet issue, followed by a list of possible solutions. Regardless of the issue - whether it's a cosmetic perk or a major progress-blocking bug, it's better than the majority of butthurt posts in these forums.2 -
