Wait so... does this mean VR ranks will be erased, and all the VR 2+ gear will all be wearable for lvl 50?
Thank the Daedra... ALL OF THEM! Even you Meridia... *spits*
That can be a double edged sword though. The more new trials etc that are added, the more hoops new players have to jump through without a ready group available before they can get to the populated content.darkmadman187 wrote: »I've only reached V2 atm but am wondering if they will do the same as WoW did, once you reach level cap it is then gear that progresses you in the game, which would mean that you would have to take part in the first trial/raid to be able to survive in the next one. I think this would encourage players to group more frequently & get involved.

LOTRO had a similar system and after years of player backlash, did away with it.

I can see your point there, I remember when I joined WoW I got to the level cap & stopped playing after around a month because it seemed if you weren't at the latest raid you couldn't advance because no-one wanted to do the old ones anymore. Just wish there were more players like me who are willing to help out the lower levels. I did it on Saturday with one of my guildies he's lvl 42 & was struggling in Arx & asked if anyone could help as a V2 Temp Healer there was no advantage to me doing it but still went in & gave them a hand, I stood back & healed the group & let them still do the damage. Seems the decent thing to do in my eyes.

Making the progression more horizontal would help, default access to all new top level content. So new players don't HAVE to do old raids and trials in order to access the new ones.

The only problem with this would be once you've done the one would it be worthwhile doing another as you wouldn't progress any further unless they made weapon/armour sets that are spread out between several raids so you would want to do all to get the set. Would have to be pretty special sets though.
