Do people really feel nobody else should be logged in playing ESO while they choose to sleep?

Sounds like you are getting good fights when you are logged in. That would seem more important than getting worked up about something you have no control over. Why do you feel you should determine play time for others? Only guessing the servers are up 24/7 so everyone has an open window of play time that best fits their schedule (not yours). Just a guess.

Agree it is probably boring but it's their monthly fee and doubt they spend much time worrying about what you're doing.

Totally agree it can be disheartening but that is out of your control. Why not focus on the great battles you have while YOU are online? Enjoy each of those fights and forget about what happens when you are sleeping.

This is really a timeless discussion from way back in 2001 with Daoc and maybe even before that. Made no sense then and even less now that MMO's are so mainstream and everyone and their mother are playing.

The reality is - you don't want PvP - you don't want competition - you want to PvE for the PvP rewards and have found a server where you can do that.

Hint: go to volendrung or Chrysamere and you want have to do much of anything.

Try telling that to the reigning elite guild there. I thought I could catch in on some meaningful pvp the other day, and initially I thought it was roughly half a dozen or more skilled enemies versus probably a dozen or more EP. Rule of thumb is defenders tend to have a slight advantage, so they seemed to be holding their own.

LO and BEHOLD my jaw literally dropped and I saw 30+ more EP flood in through the outer wall breach, many of which I didn't even recognize from the server's LBs. I felt embarassed, as EP had suffered a similar 'underdog' position last campaign. Seeing this sort of thing inflicted on the other fac is sickening. The worst part is you can't even say this to these people. Out of one corner of their mouth they resent the pvp landscape that the other facs aren't fielding numbers, and out the other they lash out at any criticism toward the emp farming tactics that skewed numbers so badly in the first place. One such person outright admitted they 'didn't like the way things were and refused to help at first' then turns around and says he just 'went with it'. I can get as fulfilling an experience playing Oblivion at this rate, though it is fun playing Cyro in the pve aspect revisitng those locations before they were famous.

I'll put this plea out again if you're a AD or DC guild, very strong with your own former emps? Please come to volen and give these EP a thrashing. Currently EP doesn't want to engage in player-versus-player. They seem more interested in playing a arcade shooter with the toy gun mashed up against the screen.

Meh, none of it really matters. There is no point calling on DC to come over and help, they are helping.... helping EP! I've been fighting both EP and DC on an open filed just now, not to far away from nikel, and they are helping each other. They wont fight each other... Sad!

I got tag teamed by two, 1 red, 1 blue (and you know who you are) as I took down one of them about 3 times in quick succession, and the only way he could pay back was to team up with a blue, priceless!

I had a good chuckle at your expense there, but the funniest part was watching blue and red doing a dolmen together near nikel. I had to take screen shots as I couldn't believe my eyes.

I am proud to say this was Brizz's DC group and Mine, we had an absolutely fantastic time having an open field fight with each others group 5v5 until 20 AD showed up to ruin the fun, Brizz then messaged me and said "Wipe AD?" So I said sure then the real fun began! the dolmen was also very entertaining

It's AvAvA, politics and alliances happen, get over it already nothing you say or do will ever change that nor prevent it, everyone is always going to do whatever most benefits their alliance, and yes the DC and us were having good fights and having FUN which some people seem to take this game waaaaay too seriously and forget to have fun

Well I've obviously been battling so hard against it, with my one post, I'm glad you came along and cooled my jets.

You should always be fighting the other side. It's one thing to take advantage of a weakness, but chilling with the other side is poor sportsmanship. No, I certainly can't stop you, but it certainly speaks volumes about your personal behavior in the campaign.

IRL, yes two sides would sometimes collude, but it leads to a lot of bad blood and hard feelings in a game.

As far as I am concerned, the new opportunistic numbers game you and your guild has been playing with overwhelming numbers the last couple of nights has already started the downward spiral. You think I enjoy logging in and having to start from square one every single day?

Well, I'd like to point out you don't actually know the politics and what's going on on EP side. Please don't single me out as some boogey man. I'm not, and my guild isn't even the largest on the server -- not by a mile.

Also, you're sitting here screaming about how we should show restraint when, before I went to bed I made sure as much of EP knew that the plan was to abandon Castle Faregyl (which was under siege when I left and yellow when I checked this morning) and Brindle/BB/BM were off limits, as was Mnem. And yellow still has all of them.

Tell me again how we didn't try to take the campaign into account.

We stayed in Faregyl for one siege round, then left to defend the north, fighting Einherjar at Farragut.
