There are certainly way more non-VR 12 kittens in the AD. I can't say I've ever been fighting EP and realized I was cutting down a bunch of level 40s. I ambushed an AD guy in the open field behind a gate today and when I noticed he was level 23 I just walked the other way. Poor guy. Must have been terrifying and, if the treatment of "puggies" in my faction is any indication this guy couldn't even be a scout, as everyone just ignores them.

In fact, fully half the people I deal with on any given day have a wildly overinflated idea of what they're accomplishing, a low awareness of what's going on right around them and of the overall zone-wide occurrences, whose tactics are terrible, who try to imitate great tactics without understanding their situational and contextual nuances and obviously fail thereat, who think those around them are formless "pugs" when in fact there are larger, more organized forces that they cannot perceive the pattern of in their smug (if undeserved) l33tness, who have no initiative, vision or creativity, who are oddly afraid of death in a game that barely penalizes death, and strangest of all are just lazy. I can't count the number of times I've been at a flag only to see half those around me standing motionless or rummaging through their sacks, leeching AP while I repeatedly whack and whittle away at NPC guards.

Worst of all people are just barely willing to ride a horse to the next keep let alone fritter away their resources in the fight for their Alliance.

Whereas the other half, the far less vocal half for the most part, quietly go about doing the actually important things without being asked or even mentioning that they are doing so, and quietly bear the absurdities of their erstwhile colleagues. Ember Scales is an example of someone who I see turn up having already accomplished the vital things those who don't think ahead overlook (and then congratulate themselves while not noticing what actually effected their victory, oftentimes those without chevrons over their heads - and I say this not as an alienated outside but as a member of the three best groups.

I imagine it is the exact same in the other two alliances, and those who spout off about their accomplishments all day or affect bizarre and megalomaniacal personalities (in the guise of lite RP) seem to live to wreck an otherwise fun and fulfilling situation with their own perverse personal crap.

Pretty much fought EP all night. I was offered some collusion on taking EP scrolls from Rylana's guild as well. The same people that would never think of doing anything like that!

DC emp push was over at like 4 or 5pm EST btw. AD didnt have much of anything on and was an extreme push over. You can thank Agrippa and other EP privately or publicly for that one though.

edit to add: it was absolutely hilarious destroying blues scroll push down at black boot as well. many glorious teabags were had. and that was ALL us

We held out at Alessia for over 90 minutes, closer to two hours (and we only had 14 in our group)
DC just rolled over and let you have Aleswell without a fight, from start to finish it was less than 10 minutes.

I'm gone for two days due to a shoulder injury...and I come back and the map is completely red.

I hope AD will join me in punishing these night time EP by turning the map yellow and blue today.

Really - I have had several opportunities to turn this map blue - and I refuse to do it because I believe it is A) stupid to do when no one is online very disheartening to the enemy C) effectively cheating because you are taking keeps with zero defenders non stop until you have everything.

But, today I will endeavor to take everything from EP and let AD get their keeps back.

I am pretty irritated with red right now, they waited until half of AD left before they pushed. They basically sat at Ash farming for hours all evening long and whenever yellow did anything they sent this zerg of lower level players all over the place

(seriously, at peak EP had more than twice the numbers of either of the other factions, wtf?) It was pretty ***. The main group we are used to was turtled up in one keep while something on the order of 60 guests or fairweathers were getting repeatedly farmed everywhere. However if anyone so much as twitched past BRK, that main group came out and make it overwhelming numbers every time.

we didnt even see the high level guys unless we were on something major or after everyone was so tired it was stupid.

pretty annoyed at the night cap, i remember AD getting so much *** for this the other day, and then EP does it.

So I guess the gloves are off now. No more consideration or what have you. Tired of being [snip] around.

I guess its going to be emperor pushes and scroll runs every single day during work hours for most people just to recap everything taken overnight.

Yesterday was crazy.

I'm going to wash my hands of responsibility for the emperor push for red. We captured Ash (to stop the DC emp push) and we took Chalman (if you ever have to ask why I take Chalman, you haven't read my previous posts). After that, it was all red doing what red does.

It's just that blue never was able to push us out of the "Ashamo". After being last standed in that keep on Bloodthorn a dozen times by blue, I wanted to know what it was like to really defend that keep.

It's fun. I like it. No Chalamo, but it's fun. Trying to breach around that staircase in the back is a terrible idea. Never do it. Unless we're defending, then I encourage it.

The three way battle of Castle Alessia against DC was fun as heck. Only a few AD really knew what we were up to and we were mostly fighting against both other factions both inside and outside the keep. "Going for a walk" along and under the outer wall was probably one of the most intense fights all day as we were under siege from the yellow defenders while cutting through the blue attackers.

Im not sure if you know what that word means, but having a cease fire is pretty much that. The difference between getting the emp doesnt impact me much there, so it doesnt really matter. But the AD force that was @ BRK was a pushover before we went to Alessia. Aggrippas team saved that front whether there were AD inside or not. I went north and held off the rest of red @ chalman.

Again, thats what it means. Youre allowed to do it so dont get too upset. Just dont pretend you dont do that kind of stuff like you claimed to the day before you did it.

And yes, once AD took Farragut people from your group told me theyd go for that scroll and I could go from kingcrest. Meanwhile I was mowing through kills @ Arrius that went on for hours, and without a significant boost in numbers there, Arrius could never be taken. So I farmed until I went to sleep.

Up to just short of 4mil AP on this campaign. Loving it.

And while I'm pretty sure DC does take nearly empty keeps (AD is all but gone during the day and I often find the map blue when I log on), I have no issue with y'all dismantling the EP emperorship at your earliest convenience.

Seems odd you guys talk so boldly when your alliance has never had an emperor.

DC have crowned an emp on DB. Frankly, its not easy for anyone to crown an emp on DB though, and its a pretty good thing. The only times EP/AD have crowned emps is between 4-8AM EST. DC is pretty much nonexistant in those hours.

We have had am emperor - and while EHJ would love to bring about more emperor ships with solid guild co-ordination with the two other main guilds for DC Draq has openly stated he will not step down from top spot - and since his character is online 18 hours a day - it's unlikely anyone else will get it.

You want to know how many times I have seen draq not hugging a keep under siege?

I can probably count them on one hand.

I have never turned a map blue in this campaign or any other. You may find that we have a majority of the map - but no one is ever left at 0. I logged into 0 this morning - well..we had 2 resources - AD had 3 resources I think? That's just plain rude and if we can make the daytime EP pay - maybe they will talk the night time cappers from EP stop.

FWIW: another leader wanted to push south before we had our scrolls back today - I asked him to get ash instead of brindle/nikel. He kindly obliged and we were able to put EP on their heels.

Ah you are right draq ataq was emperor for like 15 hours.

Your group is definitely one of if not the best DC group on DB I give you that, fight you guys every day.
