Everyone who doesn't brown-nose Zenimax is a troll in this forum. In other words, being labelled a troll has pretty much become a badge of honour.
I agree with op, if you don't pay a sub then you don't have a right to give your two cents on any forum post.
Its like note voting, if you don't vote you don't have a right to complain about the government because you don't take part in the process.
thanks for response @ZOS_AmeliaR Question though: is a banned account not inactive? "I have been banned unfairly" post is what led me to believe that inactive accounts were still able to post. Despite @Vis and his ego determination to get me to acknowledge him.
And you did. How thoughtful.
No apologies needed mate, we all sometimes put our feet in our mouths.

any questions?
Si I'm thinking of buying ESO and come to the forums to ask some questions about the game.......and am not allowed to post.....

Disagree. Some sections should be locked for subscribers, while the general section should be left open for potential new players to visit and ZoS should just pay for moderation. Imagine all the console players reading all the hate towards their favorite systems and not having a chance to respond. Could hurt business.

I disagree. You know what else gives better right and privilege if you pay more? a cashes shop...but you already know everyone would say no to it. That's what makes this "pay more for more forum-time" idea somewhat hypocritical, considering the fact that they already paid 60$ for a game they barely play or many other reasons they stopped subs.
Besides, people can "take part" in trolling with or without subs until they get suspended or banned.
ZOS_MichelleA wrote:Hi there! If you all would like to discuss The Elder Scrolls series in general, there is an area which is more appropriate; the official Bethesda Softworks forums does have a Series Discussion section for The Elder Scrolls Series. You can find that forum here: http://forums.bethsoft.com/forum/26-the-elder-scrolls-series-discussion/.

Zenimax already does do that anyway, since without active time we cannot offer feedback no matter how long we've been in the beta, how much experience we have with the franchise, how much experience we have with the genre, how much experience we have with developing mods or how much professional game development experience we have.

If you send an unsub request...you should have 24 to 48 hours of continued forum posting ability, but after that? Nope. Regardless of whether or not you have time left on your sub or not.

if you want to look at it like that then yeah, you or they make think its harsh but that is the reality of it. If you don't pay the dues why should you get to post, now if its just like a month cause you didn't have the money at the time then that's a different story. But, if you just unsub for whatever reason and don't plan on coming back then or coming back at a much later time. Then yeah you should reframe from posting.
Well, I disagree! If a person has payed for the game then I think they should be able to post. Just cuz they stopped there sub. dose not mean that they have nothing important to say about the game. They might be just waiting to see the game improve before they come back and so they wanna get there 2 cents in on topics they care about.
Think a lot of you guys are.....![]()
I canceled my sub today, I'm planning on returning but right now, the only type of character I enjoy is non-staff, and non staff is severely under powered on top of a lot of other bugs, so since I'm not enjoying the game anymore I'm taking a break, I'll be back when stamina builds are competetive and werewolf gets fixed. Just though I'd post that to rile up the haters, have fun! :P

*facepalm* - The OP and yourself, don't even realize this is like this since day one, once you account expires, you have around 48 hours of posting rights, after that it's over until you pay for an account........
There are several reasons, mostly to do with people with problems actually installing the game, etc.
