There are certainly way more non-VR 12 kittens in the AD. I can't say I've ever been fighting EP and realized I was cutting down a bunch of level 40s. I ambushed an AD guy in the open field behind a gate today and when I noticed he was level 23 I just walked the other way. Poor guy. Must have been terrifying and, if the treatment of "puggies" in my faction is any indication this guy couldn't even be a scout, as everyone just ignores them.

In fact, fully half the people I deal with on any given day have a wildly overinflated idea of what they're accomplishing, a low awareness of what's going on right around them and of the overall zone-wide occurrences, whose tactics are terrible, who try to imitate great tactics without understanding their situational and contextual nuances and obviously fail thereat, who think those around them are formless "pugs" when in fact there are larger, more organized forces that they cannot perceive the pattern of in their smug (if undeserved) l33tness, who have no initiative, vision or creativity, who are oddly afraid of death in a game that barely penalizes death, and strangest of all are just lazy. I can't count the number of times I've been at a flag only to see half those around me standing motionless or rummaging through their sacks, leeching AP while I repeatedly whack and whittle away at NPC guards.

Worst of all people are just barely willing to ride a horse to the next keep let alone fritter away their resources in the fight for their Alliance.

Whereas the other half, the far less vocal half for the most part, quietly go about doing the actually important things without being asked or even mentioning that they are doing so, and quietly bear the absurdities of their erstwhile colleagues. Ember Scales is an example of someone who I see turn up having already accomplished the vital things those who don't think ahead overlook (and then congratulate themselves while not noticing what actually effected their victory, oftentimes those without chevrons over their heads - and I say this not as an alienated outside but as a member of the three best groups.

I imagine it is the exact same in the other two alliances, and those who spout off about their accomplishments all day or affect bizarre and megalomaniacal personalities (in the guise of lite RP) seem to live to wreck an otherwise fun and fulfilling situation with their own perverse personal crap.
