I wasn't aware that bows didn't count as ranged weapons.
The quoted person in zone chat is being an idiot by insisting on staff/light armor builds. They are not the only effective damage builds. Period.
So what you're saying is this fight needs a whole team of ranged dps or a wipe? So any melee classes are utterly pointless, and will in fact prevent completion?
That's not just inferior class balance that's utterly moronic encounter design!

The first two Bosses in trails are if you going for speed run, close combat, so melee is good enough there. But the tactics with the last two required range fights for dps.
on my sorcerer I have 3 weapon lines at lvl 50, so I can switch between them, all people have to do, if they wanna be a assist to trails is make a second weapon for range fights only.
On two of the bosses I dont even do dps, I switch to healing spec to keep the whole group alive. If all I cared about was to do range dps, I dont bring that much to the raids that other sorcerers couldnt do in the first place.
my alt which is a templar, im currenlty leveling 3 weapons to lvl 50 two range and 1 melee, and I know Ill be able to go everywhere where the tactics require either the one or the other.
Adapt to the situation and tactics
