But I thought I could play the way I want?
Attacking/defending a keep now is essentially a 100% ranged battle because DKs can no longer pull people off the walls, which means people can now stand wherever the hell they want on the walls without fear of being pulled down.
What if my build doesn't have ranged abilities? What if there are too many siege weapons up? Do I just stand there and do nothing now??? Let me guess, tell me to choose another build? But I thought I could play the way I want?
Nice one Zenimax.

that is exactly what my duelwield nightblade has been doing prety much 90% of the time while i wait for the wall to fall down and then once the wall is down i can then wait some more till every one is inside and then i sneak in behind them and try to assassinate people i catch that are not looking in my direction. infact i speand alot of time just standing around because of my class's inabilities and weakness that cant compete with your dragonight class.
welcome to a small taste of the nightblade world and daily life since launch and long ago even in beta.

The only way for them to truly balance all classes is to give them all the same abilities..... which makes no sense because everyone will then use the same OP abilities. The game is made for people to have weaknesses and made for people to be able to always counter another build.

In fact I get great enjoyment in knocking walls down, AoEing a pile of idiots who decided to clump up and then watch them scatter like ants, oil dumping and watching entire groups fall over dead......You could also grab a bow if you want to do some ranged damage.
As others have also stated there is usually the odd ganker trying to flank your siege so you could guard them or look for the enemy.
And I actually found that DK ability annoying. I, as A NB, cannot TP up to attack (even if in range) so why should you be able to drag someone down?
