If they are not going to make NB on par with the other classes, they need to just acknowledge it so everyone will quit hoping for something good every patch (and having their hopes dashed by seeing things get worse). Then, let us switch our NB for one of the other classes and be done with it.
After pulling Crippling Grasp off my bar, my Dark Cloak has been working a bit better. Actually escaped last night. GASP*
Veil of Blades still seems to pull you out of stealth while it's active.
I think there is no open communication from ZÓS. We need some proposals how this should act out, what their vision is. I went Destro /Staff /Light armor on my nightblade aswell, which is a lot easier than the dual wield /bow /1-h shield build i used before, but its not compareable to the destrostaff build i currently level with my newly created DK.
I went as woodelf for my nightblade, suspected that bow and stamina regeneration its a good combination.
I find that my darkelf with more max magica, improved fire damage, suits so perfectly with the fire ability of the DK. Including build in fire resistance.
The poison resistance on the wood elf does not help in any way, because most damage from NPC or players tend to be fire.

Road ahead states they are still looking at nightblades. This class has had the most problems then any other class since launch. Some small changes have been made, but none of it to help make the class something. Nightblades are turned away from trials less they are running light armor with destro staves, etc etc and not everyone is a min/max type player and wants to play what they are comfortable with. ZOS wants to encourage grouping but we can not group when everyone sees this class as under-performing. Nightblades do not have a role to play in a group that makes us viable.
We need purpose. I want to know what that purpose is or what the vision was for this class and how is ZOS going to fufill that vision.

"We’re continuing to make adjustments to the Nightblade. We believe that what we’ve done so far has helped, but there may be more on the way"
By the sound of the Road Ahead letter it seems they are satisfied with their "fixes" so far, even though at least half of the known issues still persist 2 months after this thread was started. And many more issues have popped up since that aren't even listed as known issues.
Regarding Nightblades not being wanted for trials, it's simply not true. The best AA time on EU server, 9m45s, included 5 Nightblades. NBs have the strongest execute spell: Impale. What you are describing is a general problem of stamina DD builds. Those aren't wanted in full trial runs because it's known that they underperform, regardless of class.
NBs also make damn fine tanks or healers. I play all 3 roles and am enjoying the NB class but I still have to battle with many abilities/passives that don't function properly quite often. Funnel Health's health return bugs out consistently, Dark Cloak rarely actually makes you invisible and is finicky as f***. Impale's animation bugs out and makes me unable to use any ability for a few seconds, keeping one arm up in the air for a while. There are many more but I'm growing tired of repeating myself as I've written countless bug reports on these issues and haven't gotten anyone from ZOS to even acknowledge those problems anywhere let alone an indication that fixes are on the way. It seems the focus has shifted to dyes instead.

Veil of Blades... the only reason we at wanted for Trials.
For me is plain demotivating to read the 'letter'. NBs have many buged skills, and they need to be fixed. No fixes in first part of 1.3 either. I am loosing motivation to play the game, and are looking into 'that other new RvR MMO' going into alpha next month...

I have been keeping my eye on one went into alpha this month, going beta next month.
