The anomaly farming should have been considered a great way to level and I hope it gets un-nerfed.

This sums up you perfectly. Please put it in your signature. That way every time you post, everyone will know to ignore everything you say. It is nice of you to give everyone around here a good laugh at your expense
Really ???NerfEverything wrote: »The anomaly farming should have been considered an exploit and I hope it never gets un-nerfed.
@NerfEverything How is this different from what you said? The anomaly farming should have been considered a great way to level and I hope it gets un-nerfed.

Rubbish
Play how you want to and allow others to do the same, who told you your way was the only way ?

Unless of course those people enjoy doing that ! In which case why shouldn't they be allowed to do it ???

Rather than clip out the only words you want from my previous comment, try reading it all. FYI, in nearly 8 and a half years on the game I referred to I can guarantee 95% of the people I could ask, about "mob farming" as we grew accustomed to calling it would happily admit to HATING it. And preferred to do group content or quest content over "mob farming". No one who farms anomalies on ESO will do it out of enjoyment, rather because it gets them to vr12 quicker. Just so you know, I am not saying players should not do what they want but don't confuse perceived necessity [37k is a lot of xp] for actual enjoyment.

Because playing games is supposed to be about having fun. I can't speak for Craglorn as my highest character is 36 but I am fairly sure Zenimax wants people to do the content they created, as in the trials or whatever they are called, and NOT farm the same enemy for hours and hours and hours. As someone who has done that exact thing [but frankly as part of a character build, long story short, Virtues....Gah] I can tell you farming mobs for hours on end is friggin boring. Like rather watch paint dry boring.

So define fun Einstein...
(just so I'll know when I'm having fun in future).
Myself and friends had a blast knocking seven bells out of things in Craglorn, in fact we enjoyed it that much we did it lots, we're going to do it again too.

Because as you stated yourself, you can't comment on Craglorn because you haven't gotten there yet. And in the latter part of your comment you were referring to a personal opinion. Just because 'you' find it boring does not mean other people would !
Also you just stated -
"No one who farms anomalies on ESO will do it out of enjoyment, rather because it gets them to vr12 quicker."
And your proof for that statement comes from where exactly? Again... in your opinion !
:O

Fun is; Doing something incredible and hilarious which plaster's a smile from ear to ear. Truth be told, only really good games manage true fun nowadays, gone are the days of retro gaming except for nostalgia's sake.

For me having already gone to V12, finishing Cadwell's Gold, getting all the skyshards in the game, finishing every group, public and solo dungeon, getting all the public dungeon achievements .. Anomaly farming is much more fun on alts than repeating those quests again for the third time. At least you are with other people, you get a chance at some good loot and it isn't boring solo play hearing the same story over and over.
I already did the two alliances I didn't choose in beta, then again on my main, then again on an alt and now on a third alt it is far more boring than just grinding honeslty.
For the PvE players here who subscribed based on the fabulous original vision and creativity that ZOS advertised and promoted heavily pre- launch where Vet content would be grouping centric-focused - well, thats become a take-back.
Then again, ZOS should have known it was going to happen considering the fact they had to nerf delve bosses and delve grinding. Well after the cat was out of the bag.Grindlorn never worked the way it was intended and we have both ourselves and ZOS to blame for that equally.
