The result of all this for Auriels Bow, North America. Campaign is dead, no one showing up anymore, Most have moved to other campaigns or just unsubbed. Don't let this happen to all the campaigns. Map hasn't changed in 3 days. No chat scrolling, I mean really dead PVP, useless zone.0 -

✭✭✭TBH, no one is to blame but yellow for hard stacking that campaign for so long.
Zerg your opponents down and constantly day cap and you get a ghost town of your own making. First the pugs will get frustrated and leave and then the organized groups that are now vastly outnumbered will follow.
Sometimes restraint makes for better fighting later.

DC/EP could you be a little more subtle with your obvious alliance against AD?
Sure weve seen you guys fight, sometimes, but there have been a number of occasions where it is blatantly obvious y'all are ganging up on the underdog faction here.

I agree completely, and would add that 99 times out of a 100 it is not an organized or agreed to alliance, It's just the natural flow of the game based on the map and what is going on atm.

✭✭✭The lead designer has said in several interviews that that tripartite structure of AvAvA was consciously designed in hopes of preventing any one Alliance becoming too strong. If there are cross-Alliance agreements over shared goals, it's working as intended.
Nevertheless, I find it hard to imagine a given situation lasting too long. I've certainly attacked one or the other Alliance preferentially, depending on the exigencies of the moment, but I haven't seen alliances last within my own Alliance, which purportedly shares the same overarching goals, and all the AD sniping back and forth certainly demonstrates the same goes for the `nanners.0 -

It goes deeper than that Agrippa. We have literally watched DC stand next to EP and not attack them but actually help them overpower an AD controlled keep.
That is pretty lame if you ask me. We have also watched DC open up a keep for you and then back away before you got there. we didnt push them back, they just left. Then magically red arrives in earnest. It was your group too, you were there. And thats not me accusing you personally or anything, youre one of the few EP commanders I respect. But that is pretty fishy.

Every side engages in some form of direct/indirect collaboration on an almost daily basis. Direct collusion is pretty rare here than Ive seen on other servers, which is pretty good and says a lot about the balance of things.
Just the other day EP asked us to help dethrone the false emperor who spent 5am-8am ghost capping keeps to be crowned. We obliged and frankly I agreed with that sentiment! I was labeled a troll by AD for burning their camps and killing them as they respawn and told my activity was being FRAPsd and sent to zenimax and I would be banned by the next day.
Later that day EP was crowned and AD members asked me to help take chalman. Our 5 man group went to roeback instead which led to the AD informing me "theyre shouting your location at roeback and asking for help". EP also PMd me asking me not to come since there was a massive blue zerg at chalman already. Frankly Im just interested in good fights, and we had a good one until 40+ AD showed up at roeback for us.
Its probably as good a time as any to state that Fengrush INC is always available for hire!0 -

Junipus✭✭✭✭✭I can understand people's frustrations, but it's hardly something ZOS can do something about. You can't exactly tell hundreds of players how to fight just so everyone can have a fair experience where everything's balanced and everyone's equal.
It's not only impossible but so ridiculous it breaks intelligent people's brains.
If two alliances are working together to take a keep, then it's more AP for you. If they're working together to defend a keep, either call for more reinforcements or move on to somewhere else (either another keep or another campaign). Some campaigns will always be dominated by one side or the other, that's the nature of the world and the world of MMOs. If that isn't to your liking then either change campaigns or see yourselves out the door.
Personally, being the underdog or the outnumbered is a much better way of learning how to fight and defend with my abilities than being part of a massive group where everyone just spams abilities expecting numbers to allow them to survive. Bombing zerg trains is SO much fun!The Legendary Nothing0 -

Last night (7/11/14) AD had half the map to themselves and instead of pushing up on DC (who is winning btw) They decided to attack EP, which the DC were already attacking.
No faction is better than the other, we're all part of the same cesspool.

✭It's called diplomacy. If such a thing is happening the two sides obviously feel it necessary. My impression is that AD is larger on virtually every campaign which makes them a target for treaties like this. Shrug. If the player base would quit AD *** we'd likely see less of such things.0 -

Agreed, this is a (somewhat) complex medieval siege warfare simulation, not FPS team deathmatch. An important part of the game for many of us is the interaction between guilds and alliances in the three faction system.
