Got myself in a big mess now ... what can I do?

Well I got onto a ship and killed the sea monster and am supposed to teleport to another ship and kill the bad guy. Problem is, when i go to the other ship I keep getting killed. My armor is now down to about 62% and I just die over and over.
I tried / stuck and it said it was sending me to a safe place but IT LIED. It sent me to the same ship I teleport from. If I try to swim I get killed by the Slaughterfish.

I can't get off this ship and I don't have enough armor to be able to live long enough to kill the guy I'm after.

At this point I might as well delete the game because I can't do anything. I don't have any gold ( with me ) and what is in the bank I can't get to.

Can't stay alive on the ship and I can't get off of it either.

Pull up your map and click on a wayshrine it will cost gold but should transport you to that wayshrine. Alternatively if you are in a guild ask a member to invite you to join a group then right click on that players name and travel to player.

Ok no gold so the second option...... what server are you on? If its EU I will log on and you can transport to me

Besides the above replies, you can also port to Cyrodiil and then port to another wayshrine for free.

I agree that quest was awfully painful, try targeting the lesser mobs one at a time before the boss until they are all gone you will die a few times in the process but eventually it is the boss on their killable own.

Thank you all for providing some great suggestions for @Arizona_Willie! It's certainly a challenging quest, so traveling to another player or wayshrine would be the best way to leave the area.

If you need any additional help, be sure to use "/help" in-game.

freespirit ... I'm on the American server. I got 28 gold from someone buying something. I was able to get mail. But, the GD game won't let me email myself or buy my own items so I can send myself some gold.

I sent in a help request ... could only do an email ... thought they had live help.
Grrr.

They need to install some way for people to get out of messes like this.
Boy was I stupid to go questing without very much gold in my tunic. Usually I come back with more than I left with ---- but not this time.

Can't use the map to teleport 'cause I have no gold. Strange, when I typed in /stuck they took me to a teleport location and took the gold out of my account but the location they sent me to was the first ship which is no help at all because there is no way off of that ship until you either complete the quest or teleport yourself out of there. And with no gold you can't teleport.

Oh well, maybe in a couple of days I'll sell enough stuff to get enough gold in the mail to teleport myself out of there.

Dude...several suggestions were given. Teleport (free) to a guild member, teleport (free) to Cyrodil. There are ways out. Why are you still upset?

Come on guys and gals someone on the NA server needs to chip in and offer this guy some help.
Really sorry I don't have the NA version downloaded so my help would take quite some time..... download, play until I was in an area you could teleport to etc, etc.
I am confident some one will offer help........
Have you all considered this guy may not be in a Guild and like me may not understand the workings of Cyrodiil

Oh and @siledre sometimes the option of a wayshrine on death does not get you out of the area you are stuck in, I know this from personal experience.

And, it didn't even cost anything it seems. If no wayshrine is near you that is one way to save the charge for teleporting without a wayshrine if a guildie is where you want to go.

It sent me to a wayshrine which was fine and dandy with me.

See if you have a guildie who is able to send to you repair kits and other supplies (e.g., potions). Note that repair kits will only work for you if you're not wearing VR gear, as repair kits seem to cap at level 50.

Glad you got out. Just keep Cyrodiil in mind if you have no guildies on. Can't tell you how many times I've ported there, then used the wayshrine to avoid paying porting fees.

I play solo all the time unless I absolutely HAVE to group up ... more challenging that way plus I guess I'm a natural loner.

I just did that quest, and so far its one of my favorite quests, its not like all the normal once, there has been some really good creative thinking when making this one. Hard quest for sure, but hell of alot fun

I've been on that quest and spent 2 days. You cannot port off the ship or to any guild member group etc. But he did. Not sure how cause I tried it for a day

It's a freaking nightmare. I just did it over and over again and luckily had a non broken staff and some unused skill points on my Templar. It's a solo quest only.

Been there and FYI Zenimax employees this is why a MMO should NEVER have solo only quests, encounters and zones or dungeons.

Yes but sometimes the wayshrine will be the entrance of the place you have to kill the Boss so it doesn't help.

NewBlacksmurf ... now I know why this game has so many gold sellers and bots. If you give someone your game email @< login name > you have just given them your account name and all they need is a password generator to hack into your account.

Email should go to < character name > not < login name > --- godawful security.

Yes, once I found out I could teleport to a guildies location I was OUTTA there. Will not go back until I level up some more and build some kick=az armor. I got by all the mobs and monsters until the final boss with his two body guards and they killed me every time. I don't know why they are so tough. I fought and defeated 3 level 30's several times but can't beat those 3. Just had a thought. I wonder if there is a healer up on the high portion of the ship healing them and I didn't see that during the fight. Perhaps there is a healer I need to take out first.
