I want a full refund. I feel cheated.

Honestly, if the game is functioning that badly for you, it's your machine. There are plenty of bugs, the only one that renders the game "unplayable" is the FPS issue in Cyrodiil. And that can be avoided by not going there. That doesn't seem to be what you're talking about, so I can only say it's you, not the game.

No one is holding a gun to your head and tells you to pay for the account. " atleast i hope not" , and if you dont like it and if it dont meet up with your standard of a new MMO. Then there is just one thing to do. Quit.. easy as that. You have agreed to use there services, you have agreed to pay for it. If you played beta then you would know that there was buggs in the game and if you hate buggs, and that is the main factor that you dont like ESO. Then there is just one to blame .. you.

This. I love how people pretend the game is "unplayable" because of "all the bugs". No it isn't; that's why people are, you know, playing it. I have experienced very few bugs, and somehow I don't think it's because I'm super extra special or something.

The only "bug" I really had an issue with(and eventually drove me back to everquest) was the group phasing "bug" that I believe isn't so much a bug as it is just terribly thought out grouping mechanics. Other than that, the game was pretty fun. It's no everquest though >:)

Well as a person who really enjoys the game, and respects the people who do customer service (i have only ever had stellar service from zenimax) I am tickled pink you sourpusses are leaving.
Good luck finding the perfect game out there with no bugs or issues.
Breaking a contract is breaking the law. They are legally binding. But you believe whatever you want.
Thank you Zenimax for all the hard work, again!

It might be helpful if you distinguish the purchase price of the game from the subscription fee. I find it pretty obvious that anyone who played through the main campaign and reached VR1 got the game they paid $30-$80 (grr, Imperial Edition) for.

The subscription fee is another matter though. That's an agreement for both access and on-going service. There's certainly an argument to be made that the level of service here has been, and looks likely to remain as we sail into the future, unacceptably poor. Every MMO has had its ups and downs, but seriously this 3-month post-launch has been largely a tragicomic circus.

If you buy and play a working game, and then 2 months later a mandatory, unavoidable patch is implemented, and you cannot access the game for a month, how does that figure into your 6-month subscription? Of course the EULA and the ToS pretty much give a company carte blanche to change absolutely anything in any way they see fit, which includes breaking the game to the point where you can't even play it, but we're not really talking technicalities or legalities here, it's more of a "what should happen" conversation.
