I want a full refund. I feel cheated.

Game is unplayable with all the bugs. Customer Support is useless. I have done everything for troubleshooting and bugs, such as artData error, still persist. Not to mention everything else that is bugged at the moment.

If the game came with a warning label that read something along the lines of
"Warning: this game is NOT actually anywhere close to finished with beta-testing; purchase/play at your own risk."
Then I would not ask for my money back. But currently I feel tricked and cheated. I feel like I am being taken advantage of when I purchase a game and pay $15 a month to find out sooo many things are broken, bugged, or I must endure faulty interface.
I do enjoy supporting and donating to alpha and beta games that I want to see have success, but I want that to be my choice. Not tricked into giving a gaming company money when they cannot deliver.

I have never asked for my money back from any gaming company. Not sure how this works or what kind of grief to expect from the community.

To the forum bullies (aka admins), how about you leave "negative attitude" posts alone for once? At this rate when the game dies out soon, wouldn't you like to know why?
Besides, you're going to cheat me out of my opinion too?
And apologies if any players in the community feel this as negative. I don't like it either. I have been a huge fan of Elder Scroll games all my life and I was really hoping Zenimax would pull this off, but I feel like I have been taken advantage of.

I am somewhat dissing the game. I think the real game is amazing. Awesome concepts and unique approaches. But terrible terrible execution. Too many bugs. Just too many. I may try again in a year or so.
Ps4 and xbox releases got pushed back. Why didnt PC release get pushed back? I feel like it was premature. Players suffer and worse ESO suffers.

In any other game I'd sell my account and come out making more money than I purchased the game for.

However, even with 2 VR12's and a VR2..I doubt I could get 30$ for my account.

Still enjoying the game, even though the wife and I can't co-op all content. The game dynamics are downright fun, and we really like the graphics.

We also play SWTOR, and their graphics are cartoonish in comparison, and the combat system is comparatively clunky. The one thing SWTOR got better than ESO was the grouping system.

It's funny that you bring this up. I have always been able to justify my time spent in MMORPGs even when I wasn't having fun, knowing that I was increasing the real $ value of my account.

ESO has been the first time I can think of that I felt I was absolutely wasting my time. Even a VR12 with maxed crafting and 8 traits researched doesn't seem to be worth anything to anyone.

They generally don't moderate posts just because they are negative. They usually have a serious breach of the forum TOS when they do. Like if you go all out on someone with nastiness. Or excessive cursing bypassing the filter. Or I quit posts. Or you question the rules or admins. Technically calling them forum bullies is a breach, but they seemed to have let you slide.

I have been in contact with so many levels and side of Customer Support for the past week trying to get the artData error finally solved. I messaged someone (I get a different representative everytime) about the refund. Is this enough or is there a particular route or method to request a refund?

i think he was referring to the people that said they sell their accounts when they leave game, which is a clear violation of the eula.

mind you i dont understand why they would think a 3 month old account would be of value. the fact he has 2 vr12s and another vr is a testiment that it is rather easily accomplished.

nothing in this game was difficult to do before this nerf of trash mobs that almost noone was fighting before anyway.

you are always free to try get your refund. there are moments when I consider the same. first time happend during day one of game release, for various reasons, biggest of them, lack of black hair colour for Altmer(sounds silly, right? well, my Altmer is black haired for 11 years, quite a lot of bonding). I rarely get angry, but it was one of those moments when I have became more than annoyed. with time I have cooled off, thinking that it is the start and they will definately fix it soon, after all Altmer npcs have black hair, and so do Altmer on promotional materials. here I'm writing, 3 months later with no fix for this very small bug. I dislike false advertising.
I have never asked for refund for a game before ESO. Such things happen when your great adoration for series gets abused.

I don't get it. Why would anyone buy someone's account?

I play a game to... you know, play it. Not load up someone else's saved game and say I finished.

to do exactly what the people who are stating they sell accounts are complaining about: get to the end game content/gear without effort.

The terms of service is a legally binding contract, I believe. By breaking it, and selling an account, the law is broken?

No, it is not a legally binding contract. It is an agreement between you and Zenimax. There is nothing legal about it. :)

Also, breaking terms of a contract is not law breaking. Just contract breaking.

What is it that's so inherently better about endgame? And I don't mean in ESO in particular (Where I've heard the endgame isn't the best), but in general?

I'm quite happily working my way through the zones. 'tis fun.

Will I have way more fun when I get to the end?
