Chest Alert Noise???

When you are near a treasure chest....does it make a noise similar to the Nirnroot noise? Because if it doesn't I'm going crazy!!!!! I hear a humming/ringing noise and I turn around and there is a chest. (no, I am nowhere near water)

I have heard that noise often too, and there is no Nirnroot to be found. I often hear it entering a dungeon.

✭Its Sheogorath, the Prince of Madness. He randomly made that noise when he spawns something near you to help you go mad. Just be glad its not cheese. All he ever spawns for me is Cheese.Edited by Natjur on July 8, 2014 3:17AM2

✭Yeah, the only sound I've heard is when they spawn, which as @michaelpitop2eb17_ESO stated, sounds like a chest closing/opening.0
