ZOS - 1.2.5 failure

FPS not fixed. The only difference is the FPS doesn't stay bottomed out. It will attempt to rise. The problem however remains and I have screenshots to prove it. This is still unplayable and I (and others) have nothing left to do.

It does not take a genius to figure out something in 1.2.3 screwed things up.

Patch 1.2.3 FPS really bad
hZ5UDwS.jpg

Patch 1.2.4 FPS still bad
EwUjfyk.jpg

Patch 1.2.5 The alleged fix. 2 weeks later...

The people in my screenshot were not even on my screen when I took the screenshot, that's how bad this sh*t is.
mE5uhdY.jpg

Lastly, even my group is having fps drops and are logging out.
Rdrwah3.jpg

As you can see it's not just me. Your patch did not fix this and people are unable to play with this. So now 2 weeks are down the drain and we still can't play this broken game.

I dropped 3 different Absorption Fields, none of them were visible, all 3 used my Ult resource. Also still getting killed by invisible players / groups.

Don't do Cyro, but invisible mobs are still persistent. On the positive side of life, they're much easier to deal with now since they've been nerfed:P Clannie proves invalueable once again - I just watch where he runs and aoe there. Apparently he has the uncanny skill of seeing through mobs' invisibility I lack.

He is also great at attacking things you don't want to. What a guy.

I asked Customer Service for that very same refund, for the entire community no less, and ZOS very politely told me to go F myself.

Yeah this is really ridiculous. Players are making a mass exodus out of this game due to the bugs and horrible experience. I understand (as do many) a new game is bound to have problems. But ZOS seems to be driven by greed and hubris. I say this because EVERY SINGLE BUG I reported 9 months ago in beta was present at launch. They fixed nothing. Most seem to agree this game needed a longer beta and should not have been launched. Hell, let's be honest, ZOS even knew this hence the pushback on console.

I see little difference between ZOS and FUNCOM at this point. Both had games with tremendous potential, both rushed out their unfinished f*cked up product and lost tons of players.

Amazingly it works fine for my guild and I. Everyone stop crowding the same server and start spreading out. If this affects some and not all, it could be user issues, instance issues, campaign issues.. so many things. If a member from the team would like to gather my play information, let me know. I do play on Wabba sometimes, but also Auriel's Bow. Sure Wabba is more laggy than the rest, because people stopped spreading out and started to congregate there.

Actually, AB was the place to be along with Wabba, and AD dominated the other 2 alliances so badly they ran off to Wabba.... oh so epic. But then, a lot of AD guilds followed as well because we are crazy like that. But still some stayed.. there is still some action in AB and there are in a few other campaigns that I have tried recently.

    1) I'm sure they indemnified themselves with foresight of the fact that this would happen.

    2) It's still absolutely insane that they won't even hand out TWO FREE WEEKS OF GAME TIME FOR THOSE OF US WHO CAN'T DO MORE THAN SOLO CONTENT

    unless

The issue is so big that they know they cannot fix it in any reasonable amount of time, essentially willing to cut their losses, take money from apparent idiots like me who subbed for six months before the nightmare that is 1.2.4 was released, then happily shed me as a player because why should they care anyway...........amirite?

RIFT had issues, Trion credited us.
WoW has even the slightest issue and Blizzard credits you.
You've credited in this game before. What's with the hesitation to at least have a heart?

They sold a defective product, and will not allow you to return it! or compensate you for lost time. personally Id settle for my 80 dollars I paid on a product that DOES NOT work as ADVERTISED, on my system this game should work flawlessly, my machine is well above minimum specs and higher than "recommended" specs

So the product you paid 80$ for did not install a copy of ESO on your computer? This said installation did not give you access to ESO and the ability to log into an account? I don't think you realize what you are saying or implying or how all this works. Please desist from ranting about this suit or that and remove those statements. If you feel the need to rant about legal action, make a thread about it, but don't do it here.

With all due respect, while lawsuit is far overblown, they should issue at least the amount of game time as is commiserate with this bug persisting to those suffering from it.

I'm not stupid enough to say lawsuit, but it doesn't change the fact that there's a major lack of customer service happening atm.

Thanks for keeping us informed, but to let you know, The FPS issue isn't just in Cyrodiil. It's also in the PvE zones. I've been having FPS problems in vet 8 zone in Daggerfall.

I think you have things a bit wrong.

The game is not 'defective' - at least for lots of people who don't have the same issues you have.

Zeni did not promise you X amount of FPS in Cyrodil - or anywhere for that matter. Can you prove it's on their end, beyond a doubt? I know it's rather the 'in thing' to jump down the throat of the company, but if all you have is a pocket full of frustration and a 'good idea' that it's on Zeni's end, you ain't gonna end up doing squat.

Then there's that pesky EULA that you agreed to, which basically says you agree to play the game in whatever state it's in. Don't like it? Cancel your sub.

Obviously there are people still playing in Cyrodil. Obviously they are either not having the same issues you are, or they are content with lower fps than you are. Either way, Zeni has provided the environment for you to play in - whether you 'like' it or not is irrelevant. And as always, you can still walk away.

Zeni is obviously working on this. They -want- you to like PVP and the game, and keep your sub. Despite the trolls in this forum, Zeni -wants- to put out the best product they can. Is it perfect in its current state? Far from it. But whining and even 'threats' of lawsuits is not going to speed-up any sort of fix. It's only going to get your blood-pressure up, and make you look silly.

Patience... or cancel and walk. Those are really the only two sane options at this point if you're not happy with the way things are.

    HugoP,
Thank you for the update, but please excuse the sarcasm you might encounter. This is the same line we heard from Jessica last week and the week before, we are now two patches past the implementation of 1.2.3 and still have the same problems.
What are you working on? How is it being tested? Is it being tested on a live server with a large number of players from all three factions surrounding a keep at the same time?
What is the expected time frame for the release of this hotfix? What will you do if the hotfix doesn't work?
We all have many questions and are anxious to hear a better response than "a hot-fix is currently being tested!

I hear that last two times I reported this. Honestly I won't pay another month already lost 3 weeks this month due to it, since I do not PVE and I definately do not find my off time from work exciting ALt-F4ing and re-loading every 5-10 mins due to 5 fps, but if I zone to PVE land even at prime time with it packed of people gee back to 80 fps.
