I have requested a Mod to lock the Old poll, as it is apparent I was not clear in why some options were left out of the vote. Due to this many people ended up voting for an option that was the exact represented action, of what they were posting.
This Poll, is specifically to vote on the addition, or Non addition of new classes.
I realize, that many of you (Myself included), want to simply see ZOS remove the classes all together in favor of a free choice system like other TES games. However, I have already covered that in another poll, the response was overall the majority of players "who voted", want to see either classes removed, or a system overhauled to allow free choice in skill and trait lines during re-specs.
Since we already know that is what the fan base wants, I am not posting another poll to mimic it. This Poll, is specifically for your vote if ZOS decides to retain classes.

Is Supposed to say: Due to this many people ended up voting for an option that was the exact "Opposite" represented action, of what they were posting in their comments. IE: John doe Voted " No - The 4 Classes are Perfect, Then went on to post " Classes Need to be Removed entirely".

Winke✭✭✭No - But the Current Classes are Lackluster, and Need an Overhaul/More Trait Linesadding a few new guild skill lines (im staring right at you bard's guild) and some more weapon skill lines (maybe necro staff, spear/javelin, etc.) is something I wouldn't mind seeing them do. I prefer a classless system, so anything to give players the variety they want without adding a whole new lineup of classes would definitely be preferable for me

✭✭Other - Read my commentMy first choice would be to dump classes and have you free to choose to put points into any skill tree you have opened up. Maybe add skill trees you can open via quests even.
However that would be a pig to balance and account for all the potentially broken tactics sooo...
Choice two - you pick one of the classes to start but at certain level (maybe 25, 50 or VR5) you get to add a single skill line from another class and put points in it as you choose. Just to give you some late game variety.
No problem with extra classes if they are unique yet balanced.
Also keen to add guild skills for thieves, DB, KotN and so on. Give people more custom options.0 -

The class system is fine as-is. Does that mean I don't think they will/should add new classes as the game gets older? No. Those are two mutually exclusive thoughts.----

For me ESO is just a difficult at times story recovering my soul as a solo only adventurer and quest lover PvE game. There is to much else built into the game that drags it down for me. I've still had a lot of fun with all I have done successfully.0

Subscription cancelled due to the following facts:
- Zenimax implements more bugs from patch to patch
- Zenimax does not care about the increasing instability of the game. People have more and more crashes Fix of memory bug decreased number of crashes considerably
- Zenimax has still not fully fixed the fps drops they (!) implemented with patch1.2.3
- Zenimax does nothing to fix the massive ability lags in PvP
- Zenimax gives more attention to unnecassary 'content' like dyes for armors than fixing issues
- In patchnotes Zenimax lies about bugs allegedly fixed
- Zenimax has no plan as to how balance population in Cyrodiil campaigns
- Support is ineffective and does not even speak in a way one can linguistically understand0 -

✭Bogus poll.. no need for Yes/No especially when there is no clear question..... My vote is for do away with classes altogether, reassign existing class skills, fully develop the weapon lines with ultimates, and only introduce skill lines going forward...2 -

Would agree but there has to be equal balancing. A thief has got to have a way of successfully dealing with a wizard one on one and the other way around even if the thief's only hope is to successfully allude the wizard. And I shudder to think I'm talking about PvP... I'm really talking about a typical NPC boss battle for instance where a successful NB might sneak successfully past a boss avoiding all battle or if battle was necessary might sneak behind the boss and pull off a one-hit assassination or leave him cut down in health, magicka, and stamina to where he cannot summon any help or heal if interrupted next and all the NB needs to do is hack the rest of the way.seneferab16_ESO wrote: »Remove the classes and have abilities tied to armor, weapons, crafting skills and achievments instead.0
