Does ESO need more class Options?

Maybe - Would depend on what they are
What if there were 8 classes but you didnt have to chose and you only had the same amount of skp as the next guy . I think most would f it up horribly
they would be free to play their game the way they want. in previous TES games people have enjoyed their own characters and power was of no importance, otherwise everybody would run dual wielding. naturally, in MMO environment 'strongest' ability ombinations would attract some people, but it is of no importance to me. I want to play what I want. I do not want monitor other players.

many of us have their characters defined since morrowind (and even before). ESO ruined it. TES fan>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>mmo fan. this is how priorities should look.

I'm missing a very important poll option:

[x] Implementing classes AT ALL, was a mistake in an ES-game

    Please, no more classes.
New skill lines, available to all classes, - yes.
    - New classes - no and remove the old ones. It's the Elder Scrolls game or what?

NO - The 4 Classes are Perfect

Can always tell someones age by these statements. Arena daggerfall and morrowind had several classes

In Morrowind a class didn't define anything but the starting parameters. It never closed any skills or abilities.

p.s. it is absolutely ridiculous to refer to the old games. Even if the reference was completely correct and reasonable(it is not). Because hey - in daggerfall there was no PvP and you couldn't play as orc.
The game evolved and players LOVED what it became. Especially, the fact that you don't have to choose a class.
The class system in ESO is a step backward. Needs to be removed in future. As soon as possible.

More alternate builds, to make the current four classes more in-depth? Yes.

The ability to mix and match current class skill lines on your character? Yes.

More guild abilities, Undaunted passives, weapon skill lines, etc? Yes.

But I disagree with adding more classes. The class system is already extremely contrary to The Elder Scrolls, and I firmly believe the steps should go more to less classes, than more.

So why did you choose the option that is specifically for the exact oposite of what your post states?

The Poll option you chose means your a supporter of the Class system, and you NEVER want to see ANY changes introduced to it because it is "Perfect" the way it is. (Just like it states in the option).

I think you meant to click Option 3. Maybe.

Because 'Maybe', also didn't clarify my position. None of them did. The options from the poll were poorly made.

'No' was as close as I could get to how I felt about adding more classes. It's not my fault the op isn't capable of making logical options.

He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.

This is an multiplayer game. I should be able to log in, join a dungeon, join a battleground, queue for a dolmen or world boss or delve, teleport in, play for 20 minutes, and not worry about getting kicked, failing to join, having perfect voice coms, or being unable to complete content because someone's lagging behind. Group Finder and matchmaking is broken. Take a note from Destiny and build a system that allows from drop-in/drop-out functionality and quick play.

What defines 'The Elder Scrolls' is different for everybody. Class systems, for instance, were dropped from the series, starting around 'Morrowind' (as I don't technically consider it class-based, as I always created my own).

Third person view was eventually added. Player companions and housing have become a staple of the genre in many players eyes. The Elder Scrolls Construction Set/Creation Kit is considered by many to be a part of Elder Scrolls now.

While Arena and Daggerfall were awesome for their time, and I'll agree with many that Skyrim was light on size and depth, mechanically the series has done nothing but improve with each generation.

Any potential classes would have to fit in with the Tamriel vibe, We do now want generic classes being imported into this game. (there's enough debate about whether we should have classes at all, but all classes need to be part of the world Nirn)

    @Zenimax @ZOS_MattFiror

OK here's a couple more suggestions, this time with possible skill-trees to accompany them -

    Class - Warlock

    Skill-tree -
    Pyromancer - Fire based DPS
    Cryomancer - Frost based DPS
Elementalist - Nature based CC / DPS (mainly AOE)

    Class - Necromancer

    Skill-tree -
Blood Magic - (similar to siphon)
Summoner - Raise 'temporary' un-dead minions
Life Transfer - AOE health drains into group heals

    :/

NO - The 4 Classes are Perfect
    - Cultist/Necromancer

You've got daedric summoning and dark magic available with a sorceror, I think that satisfies a cultist style class.

I would like to see a necromancer -skill line-, but not a class.
    - Anti - Paladin (Anti-Templar, Abilities steal health etc rather then healing others)

You can achieve this through nightblade and vampire skills.
    - Warrior (All mele no ranged skills)

This can be done using all weapon and armor skills, and no class skills, but due to how poorly balanced stamina is you wont be all that effective.
    - Ranger ( All Ranged Skills and Bow, Maybe an animal summons)

Play a bow-wielding sorceror and use the clannfear as a pet.

You say that the current class system doesnt satisfy what you want to make for your character, but all the things you listed as wanting new classes for are there to use already (necromancy excluded).

Maybe you just arent creative enough.

NO - The 4 Classes are Perfect
This is a terribly flawed poll, but I answer "No" because the class system already provides a whole lot of variability within even one class. I'm sure they plan on adding different classes down the line, but they don't need to. I have yet to encounter two players with the exact same build in the game.

Those of you voteing classes are perfect, then saying remove classes, are voting for the oposite thing just FYI.

As stated before there was another poll for Removing classes, this one is for "just in case they wont" would you rather stick with the old 4 classes forever? or get some more options?

Can I get a Mod to lock this thread please? The vote is skewed because the people wanting No classes at all, are voteing for 4 classes only forever, and then posting "Remove all Classes and why".

I'll need to post a poll with different options, in order to facilitate these individuals. (Even though I clearly state about 4 times what each choice represents and why there is no option for "Remove Classes".
