Maintenance for the week of April 6:
• ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – April 8, 9:00AM EDT (13:00 UTC) - 6:00PM EDT (22:00 UTC)
We are currently investigating connection issues some players are having on the European megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available.

How would you most accurately define yourself as a gamer?

We know that gamers come in all forms, from the hard-core PvP types who live for that sort of thing, to the "elite" PvE types who like to find and complete the hardest of content, to those who are more casual, playing from time to time perhaps cooperatively with others or just solo.

So this is a poll that attempts to gauge the player base that posts here. Obviously, there's nothing scientific about any forum poll, and this poll will be no different. But look at it as a way to gauge the most active posters in the forum. :)

Made the poll anonymous, so post only if you wanna.

I fit into the really, really casual gamer type, generally choosing to play cooperatively when playing MMOs.

Mostly PVE with occasionaly PVP, used to RP a bit.

PvE mostly because most games are PvE with some accommodation for PvP, if at all. Good PvP is awesome, though.

I'm casual or hardcore depending on the game and when you catch me, really.

@Blackwidow didn't you see the "other" option.

Personally I prefer to save my being godlike for the real world. B)

My hardcore gaming days are over. I used to be very competitive during the Unreal Tournament and Quake 3/Team Arena days.

These days i really enjoy a slower pace ...

Would be interesting to see if @ZOS keeps track of how many times people have been killed by your slaughterfish ...

Exclusively PvE, casual. I'm not sure if my competitive spirit even exists - if it does, it must be a very heavy sleeper.

Other: PVE mostly, used to be more serious than I am these days. played a ton of Unreal Tournament back in the day but now play games to chill out from work and often just explore the game world at my own pace.

    I guess mostly I would describe myself as a middle-aged gamer. :)

Somewhere between Role player & "Really, really casual gamer - taking my time to see the sights" except I'm more hardcore focused than casual.

I play at a slow pace, but I try hard, and love a good challenge.

old School Nintendo Nostalgic gamer. I remember when a challenge was a good thing and even if you bought a crap game you where just happy to have something to play. I remember where games where even more expensive than they are now but we didn't complain about the price because we didn't have to pay for it our parents did. And I remember when you where happy there were people out there making these games and I didn't cry, call them names and threaten to sue them because they made a game I didn't 100% absolutely freaking love .

No you screamed and threw your controller across the room. You pretended to shoot people you don't like with the nintendo gun, then you got the Nintendo Robot and programmed it to take over the world.

You got the robot? I didn't know anyone who had that thing or that it even existed until some time around the N64 era.

By casual I mean "schedule the game around my life, rather than scheduling my life around the game", not "bad at the game".
