We need/want a Galathil!

So if any of you have ever played Skyrim there was an NPC in the Riften Sewers that was named Galathil. She was able to let us redesign our characters look for only 1,000 gold. I think it would be a great addition to the game to have a similar NPC near the shrines where we can pay to reset our skill points / attribute points. The cost doesn't have to be super expensive but not cheap either, I'd say around 10,000g. What do you guys think? I have a VR12 and am very happy with the progress on my character but I kind of rushed through the creation screen and regret that part. Let me know your opinions on the topic :D

P.S. Don't come here starting drama talking about how Zeni should fix bugs and other stuff, they are working on that, as for this topic it could easily be added into the game with the next big update ;) any off-topic / flaming = reported.

Why do you say that? It was in Skyrim, why can't it be in this game too?

Whatever you say or whatever you suggest you'll find that people will disagree with you.

Even when it's something that wouldn't affect them in the slightest because if they didn't like it they wouldn't have to do it.

I would not get angry if they implemented it.
But bethesda first did it for fallout, then they added it in skyrim because it is a nice feature.
But it did not make sense how the person would be able to do it in TES as it did in fallout.

Only if it costs real money or 100k gold. I want people to be punished for not putting in the effort in the beginning.

If it's just hairstyles and accessories, then ok, but if it's facial features and bodies, then my statement stands.

People in the real world do it all the time with plastic surgery I'm sure a little touch of magic could fix anyone in these lands, why be punished for being ugly? I WANT TO BE PRETTY!

Galathil? that gold skinned abomination, exiled or born outside of Alinor? no thank you! but I'm all for a Thalmor Wizard altering my appearance. no lesser race will weave their fingers around my face!

I would like an in game barber shop or accessory store. Face and body modifications should require real money since they are a such drastic change to your character. Emphatic players who are set on changing their character's face/body/sex/race will pay real money.

    I would like a face-sculptor in ESO!

For my first and main character, I had the bug in the beginning where the creator would NOT zoom in while editing facial features... I should have just started over, but I didn't know if the bug would persist and wanted to get playing as soon as possible.

I do say no to changing race (I would just make a new character instead if that's what I wanted) and would suggest maybe a time limit of once a month at most in addition to costing gold.

I would definitely pay 50k-100k for such a service. Maybe 10k for minor changes like hair/accessories, 50k-100k for face/body changes? I wouldn't be too adverse to a real-money option either, but would vastly prefer to use gold over dollars.

I have no problem with changing your looks in game, scars, hair colour, beards and Tattooes, fine.

But if you want to change Race, then I'm hestitant, because ingame lore is against it, and I don't want to lose any of the lore.

Character re-customization is a core and expected feature of any online roleplay game. This feature will come eventually. It MUST come eventually.

I just hope it doesn't come as part of the FTP announcement.

A Thalmor messing around with my Characters I think not, my Khajiit has no patience with them, My Altmer doesn't trust fanatics, and my Dunmer has has enough of them casting spells on him (he acts for the AD). I also have an Argonian Nightblade, and he doesn't want A Thalmor messing around with his skin either.

neither do I. wasting Thalmor skills on the lesser races? blasphemy! beasts and heretics have their own butchers that can carve some wrinkles and correct the amount of 'swollen' in the lips. although for the latter Fist of Thalmor would do just good.

Ok, I now have a solution, one face-sculptor for everybody but you, one Thalmor off in some obscure corner to change your characters, and only your characters.

But to make it interesting, we won't tell you where he is, and he changes location everyday at dawn. Bwahahahahaha hahahahahahaha hahahaha ;)

The problem with facial features is there was a bug at launch that made it so that players could not zoom in on their first character's face.
Maybe make the first redesign free, then charge for subsequent.

I'm fine with lesser races sharing their barber-butcher.

I never said randomly, he has a secret reason for changing location, we just don't know what it is, or where he's going.

Is it plastic magician association hunting him? My imagination runs dry when it comes to trivial characters and their abilities. What would make him change locations? Well, in fact your idea is great. This would make me re-visit old locations. Gathering rumours about his whereabouts. But in this case I would not like to see him as Thalmor, but traveling Wizard, jeweler.

Naturally. one cannot look at Auri-El and keep his eyesight intact!
