1. Find the person who is stealing all your bandwidth.
2. Close the windows that were left up for extended periods of time
3. Wait 30 minutes while bandwidth reallocates.
Do the above steps, and you'll have great FPS and you can finally kick some...uh...behinds (want to keep it clean for the mods and the kids here) at that keep that will finally get your guild master the Emperor title!
Now back to my World Cup.
I seriously hope this guy is trolling, if so that's hilarious. If serious, well then I just have no words for the stupidity.

So it has nothing to do with the latest patch? Worked fine before the patch, but after everyone and there mother is complaining in zone chat about it, it is there bandwith thats the problem?
For real man, i have a dedicated line, my connection is very stable, whats going on in cyrodiil has nothing what so ever with bandwith lol.0 -

OH wait we haven't had an update No real surprise there as you can see by the overall lack of green posts on any issue on any of the forums.. Obviously Zenimax do not have any real customer support in place to try to waylay our concerns over such matter that make the game unplayable in pvp and other issues that effect the rest of the game. Hows about you get off your proverbial asses once in a while and try to answer no matter how vague what you are doing with these major issues.. You MAY lose less customers that way and I empathise the word MAY0 -
gamma71✭✭✭✭The amount of people i am seeing saying f-this game in cyrodiil is getting to be almost comical, log in log out rinse repeat, and then it makes it worse when your in a group because there is still issues with lag when people go offline.
I have played Daoc gw2 warhammer planet side and other games with large scale combat, but this is hands down the worse i have experinced by a mile, lag wise,yes other games have issues and lag, but never as bad as this.
GW2 is a good example of bad lag, but it really was only when there were hundreds of people in a small area, you could always run away, and things would get better, cyrodiil once you get in the lag black hole, there is no escaping it, other then log off, and back in.

First, this one apologizes if this post looks like total crap, me and Sir Arena25 are on vacation, and neither him nor I, his scribe, has a laptop, and I'm left with a crappy iPhone.
Second, both Sir Arena25 and I are laughing our tails off at the number of posts that keep on saying I am trolling. I try not to be a troll, but if you want to call us stupid, by all means do so.
Now, perhaps arena25 didn't explain how the bandwidth solved everything.
Allow this one to explain better:
On June 29th, Sir Arena25 and his family, along with I, his scribe, began having nonresponsive and/or slow internet. Originally, the whole family began searching for the culprit. It was 20 minutes until this one uncovered something...his sister had error free and fast internet.
Upon further investigation, it was discovered she stole most of the bandwidth. As a result, her computer and all her windows were shut down. 30 minutes later, arena25 was playing the game error free. He even succeeded in defending an entire keep with only 20 other players from capture by 120 players. And best part? No FPS issues in Cyrodiil. Now if only he could do it single handedly...
So, yeah, this one suggests you check your bandwidth.

P.S. This one also suggests you try to avoid playing whenever there is a severe thunderstorm occurring. Beeftips✭✭✭I'm tired of waiting for updates to fix broken patches. I've just decided to cancel my subscription. I play this game for PvP and I'm currently unable to do any sort of pvp because of the FPS issue. I refuse to pay money while waiting for this issue to be resolved.
I really hope Zenimax knows how their failures to provide support in ESO has blemished their reputation along with the reputation of the Elder Scroll franchise.2 -
adino✭✭Not just a cryodiil issue. It happens everywhere in large combat situations and for special me it happens all the time anywhere. I was good until the hotfix and now max 15 fps averaging about 7. That is why I come on the forums and whine like a little baby. Just insane that they can let this go on for 2 weeks. Now it seems they tried something on their end and cryodiil is worse than ever. Oh, I also get invisible enemies because it doesn't load the npcs fast enough on my pc.
My advice people cancel sub. I am hoping thousands upon thousands cancel sub. That way maybe ESO will get a clue and have a "staff" meeting and get their act together. Yeah I know they must be trying and yes I know they want their game to work but there comes a time when you need to do something different. ESO needs to stop what they have been doing and change or else they will continue to make the same insane mistakes. Some exec that knows little to nothing about programming, needs to come into the lead developer's office and rip his head off. Because clearly that lead developer is not getting the job done.1 -

They just need to test things thoroughly before releasing stuff, instead of the attitude we will fix it later if theres problems. I have little faith mondays patch will fix the lag, but i do hope it does. These guys need to learn how to hot fix things in a timely manner.

Its also the only video I have ever seen them notice, watch, and take action to remove, including permanently removing the person who made it. That was enough reason for me to check it out, and I was not disappointed. It looks very accurate to me, and looks really bad for the suits at the top making the decisions.

if you spent any time in cyrodiil you don't need a lengthy video to know that ballgroups are a sad joke and that pvp servers are not up to the task, and that both combined makes for an unplayable game.
But apart from that, I found this necroed thread to be quite interesting, as it could have been started last week and still describe the situation server- and softwarewise (eg memory leaks.. ) very accurately.

techyeshic✭✭✭✭✭I don't know. Back then; it was a different lag. Noticed FPS was brought up. I remember the slideshows. I don't really see that often on PC these days. It's more like position and health bar desync.
At another point in the game, there was a thing with ultimates just repeatedly go off if you spam them. People then blamed groups purposely spamming it to cause lag Now you press it land nothing happens and people blame ball groups0 -
