For God sake!! She goes invisible, she resets hear health if i stealth more than twice, then to cap it all off i die and she won't respawn, even after i relog. If i have to abandon this quest i will implode!!!!!!
I literally just done this. Annoying enough quest at the best of times but at vet10 level on my NB, I don't think I've ever got so annoyed at the game. Not so much for the difficulty, just the stupid, stupid bugs. She went invisible twice. Another time I died but she was nowhere to be seen when I revived. Another time she just froze and I couldn't hit her. Was stuck in combat one time so couldn't port out and back in to reset, I had to jump off the cliffs a couple of times to kill myself.
No way I was resetting that long quest. Ended up killing her somehow with practically no armour value. Extremely frustrating it can be broken in so many ways.
Yup, she went invisible on me when I stealthed, had log out and when I logged back in I had to fight through the whole dungeon to get back to the Far Shores.
Daren't use stealth again so hit up the dual wield and went at her hammer and tongs fashion, was mighty glad to see her bite the dust.
Whenever I fight in this game I'm not scared of the enemies, I'm scared of the damn game bugging out on me.
Yeah, its the only time i have literally raged at the game with my VR9 NB, really frustrating. Went back to it later and yup, had to go through the whole dungeon to get back to her, only for it to happen again. Really enjoying my NB atm so don't really want to put him on hold right now, but i'm gonna try once more and if it bugs out again then i'm gonna have to
Is she supposed to go to 100% health between waves? A friend and I (both VR5) can't take her out. We kill her waves and attack her with ultimates and skills.
We can get her down to about 50% health in one round.
Then she jumps onto a pillar and we take out the next wave.
When she comes back down she's back at full health.
We gave up after fighting her and her minions for about 45 minutes as she kept healing up.
I would really like to see how the NPC and event scripting is done for this game. How these things can break for some people and work for others, when we are all supposedly running the same code, is beyond me.
I realize that there are thousands of quests in the game, many with several scripted sequences and a unique touch which I appreciate, and I understand that the scripting couldn't be spot on and fully tested for every single one of these quests at release, but we are now seeing things break that used to work, and other things work only if you are lucky, or if you avoid doing certain things that break the quest. "Brittle software" is a term that comes to mind, but it usually refers to old code.
It's not a huge problem, but it worries me to see that they are still breaking things, not just fixing things.
