"Honest Feedback"

maybe it's just me, maybe i just don't have the time, but i find the grind from VR1 - VR12 horrific, i played from the early access, iv'e remained optimistic about the game since, and i still am quite optimistic, i just can't justify paying $15 a month for something that immediately feels like a chore.
- perhaps i'm lazy, perhaps i don't have the patience, but my very honest opinion is that once you hit level 50 there is absolutely nothing to do other than crafting, PvP, and Questing.
You can't dungeon adequately at VR3 (my level)
There's not enough to do, i have every motif, i have maxed out woodworking, blacksmithing, and clothier, i have a ton of gold with nothing to spend it on, PvP is repetitive and annoyingly stupid (idk about you, but my faction won't stop zerging alessia)
and than there is my main point, there is simply too much of a grind between VR1 and VR12, there is no way i'm going to be sitting there for hours at a time doing absolutely nothing but questing, it does my head in, after a while all the NPC's start sounding similar, the quests are basic... half the time i can't even have my friends help me because of phasing.
i was so excited for this game, and to be brutally honest, it let me down.
i'm still optimistic about the future as it's still a young MMO, but i guess i just can't hack it.
Your opinions?

This topic will likley get closed as well due to the fact that you have stated you are quitting in its content.

i tried to mention it there, but the real problem is not how much content there is but the rewards for it.

compaired to the endgame of my last MMO this game really seems to give you everything extremely easy...

Yes i understand that much, but it's not like they're not enabling it?
it's quite obvious that they are just closing threads that seem to generate a lot of responses so it doesn't become "a big issue" because the more people back something the less they can do to make it seem like they're not breaking 100 other things each patch...
Like, straight up.. if they didn't break everything in the first place, there wouldn't be negative feedback, maybe they should just listen to it instead of mitigating it.
people who arent doing anything wrong, embrace the truth, people who are, don't.

far out just close it... i don't care anymore.. it's not worth the trouble.

Me? I know the rules. Don't be a troll, don't be stupid and drunk, and under NO circumstances shall I post goodbye/quitting threads...wait, where is everyone? (That was a joke).

That said, I would love to see the rare fish achievement get fixed (rare fish don't give achievments in Khenarthi's Roost, apparently). Other than that, I'm just going to be patient with ZeniMax. While I do so, I'm just going to keep on trucking through the zones and hitting Daedra with the force of a...well, truck.

Oh, and by the way, SirAndy, if I could mark a post for LOL/Agree/Insightful/Awesome in one post, I would do that to yours. But I can't, so I stuck a +1 down the Insightful chimney.

Tired. Going to take a nap.

I'm with you Trip.. I've just been playing for the umpteenth time I feel like putting my fist through the monitor.

The game once you hit VR is just plain tiresome! I play a game to relax and unwind from the stresses and strains of corporate b*****ks that I hve to cope with daily at work.. I certainly don't want to a game to become more tiresome than typical office politics!

I know my limits.. and I think that today I've just about reached them!

Wouldn't it be great if the developers included a mascocist/epeen toggle for for those who wanted it, and cooperative/fun play toggle for the rest of us?

Come on, guys, let's all calm down.

Here's my suggestion...

Ask other people for suggestions as to what they did to get to Veteran Rank 12. Then do as they say.

Or...make a new character. Heaven forbids I got 8 to split my playing time with. And I can't seem to make much progress...they are all hovering between level 10-17.

Can anyone not make a new character. Oh, and some suggestions when making one...

#1: Try out a new race.
#2: Try out a new class.
#3: Try out a new alliance. By this, don't make all your characters EP, at least have one be DC and another be AD before you make the rest EP.

Well, I'm off to shoot some bottle rockets and get my dinner. Be back later. My scribe will take over from here.

That made me chuckle... thanks, needed that cos I was feeling a bit depressed about finally calling it quits...

Nup, ZOS is now deleting and editing my posts, and inboxing me telling me that i am harassing people, can any of you find an instance in which i have harassed anyone?
i'm not going through this much trouble for a game, ZOS might turn out to be as bad as EA

Looks like they edited out the part where you discussed the previous thread closing, your opinion of it closing, and how you begrudgingly changed your post so that it fit within the ToS. The 'meat' of your post is still there, without all the foot shuffling.

Discussing thread closures, iirc, is against the ToS (and really all ToS in forums anywhere).They just edited it out instead of closing your post.

@Tripp3r Maybe take a break for 2 - 3 months and come back and see if the game has been improved. Just a suggestion.

I've been playing since early release as well, yet my highest toons are lvl 27... Even before vet, I get to the point where, like you said, all the quests sounds and feel the same... I end up just running through group dungeons over and over again just so it can feel MMOish to me lol

I love the game, but they (Zenimax) really needs to do something about the repetitive nature of the game... I don't expect them to do it "now" or even in the next month or two, but I would suggest the devs have a "come to jesus moment" and start thinking of some ways to improve the MMO aspect of ESO and to give people more options then endless questing.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE questing, LOVE that you can play ESO solo, LOVE the graphics, LOVE some of the core mechanics... But I find myself playing less and less myself... and I've been a BIG supporter of the game.
