No, EU players are first-class citizens. They don't receive the patch until it has been tested by the US players.

If you ask for the EU server to be patched at the same time as the US one, you'll immediately want to know why it's being taken down in your prime time. The present system is based around both servers being patched at their local off-peak times.

Also, because EU and US are in the same virtual environment, we ALWAYS gets less downtime then US.

Check the support, service announcement and count the hours :-p

I think we can be confident that tonight they'll roll out exactly the same 1.2.4 patch that NA got today, for good or for bad.

When they create the next patch, NA will get it first.

The fanboys around here had been telling us for days that the problems would be fixed on Monday this week. But they weren't, and were never going to be, because there were no plans to install the patch in Europe on Monday.

My point was valid, and my feeling of 2nd class status stems all the way back to the launch, when my early access voucher was useless because Zenimax took the servers down every day during European prime time.

The game is offered in 2 languages I don't really think are that popular. French and German.

We have 159 milion people that speak french but 191 million that speak portuguese and those are light numbers because in Brazil alone there's 210 million people that speak portuguese, so no doubt is more important than french.

I might be wrong but the game isn't offered in spanish? We have a whopping 400 million english spanish speakers around the world. German don't even appear in the TOP 10 languages.

Anyways none of that matters, english is the master language (And this comes from someone that have it as 2nd language).

So they are pretty concerned for EU citizens to offer in those two unpopular languages that only are famous because the countries have economic power.

As for move the database server, well that was a big let down. EU players that chosen play in EU should have physical EU server.

And finally, seems like they wanted the EU money and then let you guys down, but then why have the huge work to translate the game for these 2 languages if they weren't putting EU players on top? I don't know if the voices are in german and french which puts even more work to bring the game to those unpopular languages?

On the good side you guys can see the mess on NA server and prepare to face the bugs before hand and not screw up your characters like we in NA have to.
