I can't seem to get any attention to this other than being told to /bug report it which I have been doing since launch to no avail. So, I thought perhaps if I made more people aware of the problem we might get some dev love on this issue. I figured at the very least it might contribute a bit of levity to the doldrums of the CS forums.

The problem is with those cuddly, round-eyed little critters you all know and love and which ZOS has chosen to sadistically scatter copiously around any monsters you might actually want to fight. Specifically, they seem to completely ignore what you are actually pointing at and absorb your abilities (and resource pool) like some magical vortex of failure!

As you can see, it doesn't matter if you have SKILL and point directly at the thing you want to hit. If there is a critter in the nearby area, your ability will completely ignore your targeting reticule and fly off to hit the critter instead.
I can't imagine how many rage-quit-inducing deaths this has caused when that life-saving stun or CC went after some random rat or squirrel instead of the elite that was mashing your face.
Please, ZOS, if you want me to go on a rabbit-murdering rampage, at least have the decency to pay attention to what I am actually pointing at! I promise, I will still vaporize every "atmospheric" howler monkey I see!
