While I was chatting away I have the results for the second Grinder tests. It seems that there is a mixture of Framerate problems (FPS) and LAG (server sided Network routing problems).
I was able to improve classical FPS problems by tuneing down Shadowing and Anti-Alaising which reduced the size of the data packages going to the server somewhat in Cyridiill, but just by a hair (15 FPS instead of 8).
If you noticed I specifically mentioned reduced the data package size. I noticed that the game itsself is just fine and local config is also not producing the LAG. I used a Proxy to see if the LAG improves if the routing hops are shorter to no avail.
The only thing left that I can see is Network Server performance on the Zenimax side of things. Reboots of the game improve a bit till the Memory buffer is full and then its 8 FPS again. I am going to attempt to increase the mem buff and see if that helps or do some package shaping and see if that helps.
See you soon.
