Crypt of hearts - vet dungeon final boss

Any tips on the final stage of the last boss? Me and my guild mates can easily burn down the first phase with the wraiths. But he usually smokes us in phase two. We try and conserve ultimates and block his fast attacks with the ebony blade. Any suggestions from seasoned groups that completed this? Thanks

For those that care, after the third night of trying we were successful. Congrats to @Aoneldar @saradok @heidijoe
We ran two Templar heals, lightning sorc, and dual wield NB. No tank needed. PM me or respond to this if anyone needs help.

AoneldarSoul ShrivenJust takes one BA lizard with a pair of daggers to tank via DPS while AoEing mobs down. Helps that @saradok and @Heidijoe are use to healing my medium armor in PvP.

Anjelicus✭✭✭all you have to do is DPS the boss in order to get him to drop the channeled target, if that what is killing you. Also be sure to block the flaming skull he casts, this will reduce dmg taken severely and negate the knockdown. honestly the last boss is one of the easiest IMO, the RNG from the first boss can be a pain in the ass if you get cocooned AND you have the lightning storm following you (which was happening alot as a healer).
other than that, dont stand on the vents or the chains that explode and hes ez.

Kayira✭✭✭✭I heard there is a dps buff for the last boss, we tried the red circles but that didn't do anything.
Is it bugged or is it intended that there is no dps buff, because it is near impossible to get the shield down when one of the dps gets picked up by the boss.0 -
I did this boss twice with a group of players, PUG.
Take @Anjelicus 's advice as he offers some good tips. You really have to DPS the boss when he has someone targeted (healers: have a DPS bar ready for this phase so you can help) and block those skulls. You can even block his charge attack.
We were successful both fights, with one wipe. Not too shabby.0
