Game Crashes When I Click Play
I have the game installed and used install disks to install it. It is also fully patched and the folder size is 55.5GB in size. Every time I click play, a black screen comes up and then I get a crash report for Error 11. I have tried repairing but it just tries to download 28GB again as if the game is corrupted. I have installed the game a total of 5 times now along with the patch and this is still happening to me. I would appreciate if you only responded with possible causes or links for me to read up on. This is killing me and my subscription is wasting away without me having logged into the game at all yet..

Yes and I have tried running all the compatibility modes too.. I contacted support and they helped me set up my forum account(I accidentally deleted the invite code) but now I'm waiting for the tech team to get back to me. It's so aggravating each day that passes feels like money spent for nothing.. I just hope I get compensated for these wasted days at least.Edited by NormalNormy on July 2, 2014 3:57AM0

The error 11 is normaly solved by using the Repair option on the launcher.Players can repair the files for The Elder Scrolls Online on their computer by following the steps below:- First, start The Elder Scrolls Online launcher by double clicking on the icon on your desktop.
- Wait for the launcher to finish starting.
- If multiple ESO clients are installed and available through the launcher, make sure to have the correct version highlighted by clicking on it once.
- In the middle of the launcher there will be an entry for Game Options next to an icon of a small cog wheel.
- Open the Game Options dropdown menu and click on the option for Repair.
- Allow the launcher to examine all the files for the game. This may take some time.
- If any files are found to have problems, the launcher will re-download those files.
This should allow you to play the game.
You can also check if all the updates are correctly installed :- Manually update your launcher. Details on how to do this can be found here.
- If the above step do not resolve your issue, please try the following:- Open the game installation directory “Zenimax Online”
- Open the folder named “Launcher”
- Inside the “Launcher” folder, there is a folder named “ProgramData”
- Delete the “ProgramData” folder
- Open the launcher and download update
- Click “Play”

I tried the second option. When I try to repair it starts downloading the entire game again as if it's corrupted which is impossible. My friend is able to play and I'm using his disks to install it on my computer because my internet is too slow to download the whole game.0

ZOS_PierreL✭✭✭✭The "repair" option is checking every files from the game. If during the repair, the launcher is installing something, it's probably because the game didn't get these files in the first place.
A repair can be a long option, but worth a try.0 -
When I click repair it checks all the files then starts downloading about 26GB. I uninstalled it and am currently installing it once again, I realized I never uninstalled it before so this time I'm hoping it works. The first time I began downloading and got about 5GB done then my friend let me use his disks, I didn't uninstall before using the disks. I just hope it works this time, if not then I will have to download the entire game
