It's not Zenimax. Stop trying to play it on a calculator.
  • flow.currypoteb17_ESO
me 2, i stopped playing and watch the forum, and hope they fix this Alpha! because my game was NOT PLAYABLE! with all the issues.

and the BETA from ESO was far more STABILE than that game now

This Game don`t get the right Note, it should definitley get better Notes. It is a Jewel and i think it becomes better over the next Time too. I am one of the Player who are thankfull to get a Chance to Play such a fine MMORPG. Sure, this is my emotional Opinion of this Game.

    MFG Murmeltier.

Are you serious? what level are you now?

I am in the Veteran-Content and what should i say, i love the Difficulty and the Option to explore two new Factions. I have Fun there and i play as a Templer ;) .

This is a typical Comment too, sorry to say that but you know something like that: * You like this Game because you don`t have seen the Veteran Content who is soooo horrible.* So please speak if you reach it and then you are a serious *whatever*.

I have seen the Veteran Content and i like it. Maybe the Reason is that i am an old Dog and i can remember to Games like EQ1 (*Train, RUUUN :# )in the early Stage. So i `ve wrote over Themes that i have seen and it works for me. It is not perfect, it is difficult but it runs smooth at my personal Sight and i like it. So i think i am serious, yes.

    MFG Murmeltier.

Well, good for you. But it is not me the only one blaming against vet ranks. It is the vast majority.

Could have been an insta-classic game and eventually dethrone WoW but... im afraid that one year from now people will just slighty remember the ESO game that came out.

both my husband and I are having these issues, my game ran after the first patch better but now after this little one we cant run it without getting all of those issues, its basically so bad we don't want to play it. We're also having sound issues going in and out, we have NVidia 9800's our comps are old and I know everyone thinks its because we're running on older computers but the fact is I was running smooth with fps of 40-50 after the patch I cant run anything...drivers are up to date im running a repair atm but im not the only one with issues so I know its not me, and its not you.
I'll stab you. I'll stab you until your dead. Then, I will stab you again. Just to be sure that your dead.

From what others have reported the latest patch seems to be causing a lot of issues. I wasn't aware that EU hadn't been updated when I last played so I'll give it a go later.

That being said my computer last week failed to run certain applications at all, some were buggy and some ran fine. I hadn't installed anything or updated anything. I restored to a full week previous, after doing the above which fixed it. So although in this instance it looks like it's the patch it's not necerserily the patch, just because it happens after a patch.

I also used to run Skyrim on a AMD 3200+ with an old GFX card successfully so it's surprising just how far you can push the minimum specs. :)

I finally bothered to reset my modem to fix the patch manifest error not long ago..

however now i am getting horrible lag on effects in the game... attacks are not rendering, visual effects are missing. i tried changing the graphics settings down but that didnt help.. btw i had to hard close the game from task manager because the loading screen after changing the visual settings simply looped endlessly, which it always does...

Enemy attacks are having delays with the visual and gameplay effects... a enemy can use the throw dagger ability but not have it actually fire off until seconds later. i can use puncturing stirkes but not have any of the visual effects render..

Loading screens are taking extremely long, up to 5-10 minutes when first loading the character screens..

an issue that causes CPU usage to spike, freezing the game for a few seconds unless i change the priority of the game to high in task manager still plagues me... even with that change it still happens...

right now the game is playing in a state worse than what i would expect of a alpha build... its downright unplayable.. its not even 50-50 that anything from the game loading to minor graphic effects that are relied on for feedback in gameplay will work anymore... thats no better than a first build alpha that only serves to demonstrate the engine...

i cant play it like this.... what the hell is Zenimax doing?

Although I'm quite well known on the forums now for slating Zenimax, this game is well past alpha stage ! Yes it has so many faults, bugs etc... but it has also gotten much improved since launch.
Should it be better than it is right now... hell yes
Could it be better than it is right now... yes, I think so. Just need Zenimax & the Devs to do what's right for the game and not just for the shareholders !

Zenimax is a privately held company, there are no shareholders.

I've played early Alphas, and ESO definately isn't THAT bad

    True story.

I was one of the first 300 people picked for the Beta a year before release. It was not pretty back then.

It's no beauty queen now, but it was worse back then.

no where near early alpha . but i will agree its a late beta. the end game was not in . later game activites poorly tested and horribly implemented. Needs a total overhaul on the back end. I disagreee with your engine comments though i beleive the engine is beautiful but lacks flexibility to fix things in a timely manner. its the server tech that is wonky and causing peoples problems. that and does not work well on a variety of hardware.

Okay I'll give one suggestion that fixed a lot of issues on my brother PC. (I'll have to translate some things as my pc is in another language, so I'll try my best to point you to the place):

Go to: Control panel > Hardware and sonds > Energy options

Check if High Performance is checked, if not, check it.

Now click on "Change plan settings" and then "change advanced settings". There will be something like "Manage CPU power" then "Max performance" change it to 100% if it's not already.

My brother was not on 100% so it was limited to 60% of his CPU, it was a mess and this worked great.

Hope I could help you and perhaps fix your problems.

If not, also check on the BIOS if some settings could be wrong for your CPU and GPU. But for that I can't help as I know little.

I've consistently had the same issues but assumed it was my computer and not the game. I'm running win 8.1 on a old Asus G72GX gaming republic laptop

The graphics and fps are fine but the animations are always behind.

ISP is TWC 35down/10upload speeds wired.

I'm playing the game on a 'calculator" as it's just an i3 PC, with a GTX650 and 12gb of ram, I'm also set to ultra and addons turned off most of the time. win 7 ultimate and that's it, nothing else on this computer, it's purely for ESO only.

Not what I'd call quick computer by current standards, AND I'm in Australia. I've got none of the issues you speak about.

Either I'm lucky or you have other issues, and I'd wager it's the latter.
Been here since Feb 2014 - You'd think I'd be half reasonable at this game by now...

I always go for Full AMD with any Video game, Also if your using a different processor, then your motherboard is supposed to have (Most Motherboards are meant to support 1 type generally either AMD or Intel), while also running the opposite for your graphics card (IE if you have an intel CPU you should be running Nvidea, If you have AMD you need to Run Radeon or AMD), and still running a type of ram that doesn't work well with one or the other (Your GPU or CPU). Can cause a ton f performance issues.

Hardware conflicts like this can cause a ton of issues, your computer will still work but your drivers will conflict and suck your *** dry, and not in the good way. Especially with "graphical updates which effect all 3 of these aspects.

Source: I used to build custom gaming computers for people and have years of experience with hardware issues like you have mentioned.

IN addition to what I said just a minuet ago, NEVER NEVER NEVER, Buy your gaming computer pre-built (Like from walmart or whatever). These machines are put together all hodgepodge. I fixed one guys comp that he bought from walmart which had an Intel chip Slotted in an AMD Motherboard... I simply sold him an AMD CPU (At discount since he let me have the old Intel Chip) popped it in and boom, his problems were gone.

ALWAYS Buy your gaming computer form a custom builder company, This is a gaming computer your useing not a general run of the mil comp for every day work where the manufacture only did what needed to be done to ensure it would "run".

Prebuilt comps are not meant to run games these days.

And don;t say you don;t have enough money, if you can aford that 600$ prebuilt POS from walmart, you can aford a Decent, Functional Gamming computer from Cyberpc, or Xcustoms, or Powerplay, (Or even Ebay, which might be the better choice actually if it's a reputable seller).

    OR

Simply buy your parts for your comp from amazon and have your local tech store put it together for you for 40$. You can build a 2500$ Gaming comp for around 1000-1500 like this. I know it's how I used to make my money on Ebay a few years ago. (Although I built them myself rather then paying someone to do it).

Go ahead, Check the prices. It's true.

Wth is wrong with you people?

i mentioned that i have been playing on ultra settings since early release with not problems and that the majority of the issues in the original post is completely new.. specifically new to the patch 1.2.4 making it very clear this issue has been introduced from outside my computer....

not only that but a lot of responses have commented to not use stuff that if you had read only a couple of posts down you would have known are not even relevant...

my computer is not some store bought POS, its a personal build that actually rivals the current console generation in terms of overall power. one that i have personally upgraded over a few years to that point. the CPU is only a few years only few years old in terms of its production release.

if you feel the urge to post without reading the topic, DONT

Btw i am far from the only one with these issues...
same issues since update 1.2.3 Before update i was running the game perfectly.
    -No spells animation
    -no weapon swap animation
    -invisible mobs
    -delayed audio
-when i get damaged it dont show on health bar
    -many random loading screens
-even when deconstructing stuff the audio is delayed
-discovered x area screen messages not appearing
overall the game is unplayable for me.I love the game still having fun with it but with all this recent issues after 1.2.3 I just cant play it.So,you know no matter how awesome the game is if it got broken i see no reason to play it.I have 14 days of game time and if the issue if not resolved by the time game time ends i see no reason to renew subscription.
