ESO is only TES in lore , they could make some changes to be more than that atleast.

Class system is an integral part of the game and you can't remove it without really re-coding everything... and then testing... and then sorting out bugs... and then re-balancing and while doing that keep listening to more and more complaints from people who liked the system and also from people who just like to complain and will do so in any situation.
I would rather we keep it and just wait for ZOS to do more and better balancing and probably add some more classes.

Its part of the game and has been from the start.
Adapt and overcome.

FOTM and Cookie cutter builds stem from limitation on options for how to build your character forceing you to choose the most "effective" build for your "class" and yes they stem from classes and the limitations set forth by such.
In a free spec open class game with 100s (if not 1000's) of options for customization of your characters skills. Cookie cutter builds are not only impossible, but a seriously invalid concern.
