M'aiq say most sincere apologies, but big fish dinner more important than you

The locations are legitimate, however he only shows up at certain times of the day.



This was taken about 5mins ago. In this screenie, he was there just before/around sunset. Ignore the UI error, the recent patch broke the Addon and I haven't checked to see if the author has updated it.

At the other location mentioned in the M'aiq's Words of Wisdom/I Like M'aiq thread, I had him show up at midday.

There is an addon called "Clock Tamriel Standard Time" that shows a rough estimate of the time in game if you want to avoid camping at his spawn location for the duration of a full in game day. It seems to be still working as shown in the screenshot provided.

The first time I went looking for him, I started at sunrise in game time, and ventured to each of the two known spawn locations. In-between then, I'd do Anchors and those mini-event type things that pop up across the map (like the merchant and guard being set upon by bandits). I found him at midday that time.

This time, I just logged in, checked the first spawn location and then the one in the image above (luckily it was near sunset). He was there, luck of the draw probably. There's likely other spawn locations, but since he's choosy about what time he spawns, they're hard to find.

I hope you are able to find him sooner rather than later!

Edit: Nevermind, logged out. If someone finds M'aiq, and then hangs around the area he won't despawn. I had him there from 17:00 to 21:00 in game time - long enough for a decent number of people to travel all the way there to talk to him.
