Split-second lag/frame stutter

✭Ive submitted several tickets, there is no response from anyone to the thread. White scrolling quest text, moving into "quest areas" causes my fps to take a *** and cause a freezing effect every time. I have updated my drivers, disabled add ons etc.
Ive gotten no response to any of my in game tickets. Not only for this issue, but also for the issue that NONE of my hirelings send items TWICE PER DAY when they are all maxed out on points. I get items once per day still.
WTF is my sub paying for? Wont be paying for anything much longer thats for sure.Force weapon swap to have priority over EVERYTHING. Close enough.
Make stamina builds even with magicka builds.
Disable abilities while holding block.
Give us a REASON to do dungeons more than once.
Remove PVP AoE CAP. It is ruining Cyrodiil.
Fix/Remove Forward Camps. They are ruining Cyrodiil.
Impenetrability needs to REDUCE CRIT DAMAGE. Not negate entire builds.

Selodaoc✭✭✭Im having second freezes every time a quest updates, someone joins a group, or if someone is zoning since patch.
Extremly annoying.
Animations of skills are still not smooth. Sometimes Swings get stuck half into animations if i kill the enemy.

Same here. No response either on my ticket. If Zenimax continues to ignore the issue you won't be the only customer they lose.We have contacted our Customer support team to help you solve your issue.0 -

Selodaoc✭✭✭Using ingame ticketing is useless. You only get automated answearing that usually have nothing to do with your question.1

- closing the patcher
- closing Chrome, which I usually run in the background
- installing pending Windows updates
- leaving group
- turning off all addons
- relogging, /reloadui
- doing a repair via patcher
2 friends who started experiencing this with me have completely different computers, 1 only uses 1 addon to jpeg screenshots.
I JUST upgraded to an AMD Radeon R7 200 series yesterday. I've had this hiccuping for about a week.1 -
My wife and I are both experiencing this problem since the previous patch.0 -
Misty✭✭✭I can also confirm this. Game freezes and sound stops for up to 5 or 6 seconds, and after it gets moving again, and even though I take my hands of keyboard and mouse, my character has moved on.

✭✭Both my wife and I usually experience the lag almost the same time on different computers & graphics cards. She has a Nvidia GTX-760 and I'm using a ATI HD-7970. So whatever stuttering we are experiencing is not coming from the video cards or the computers. Looks to me to be either client or server side lag.0 -

phtony06b14_ESO✭✭✭Customer service wants me to download a 60GB! program to ascertain what might be the problem. I'm conflicted. I want the game to perform as it did before tha patch but 60GB is a lot of hard drive space. I only have 59GB left on my SSD so I'd have to use my storage drive but still, that's a huge program.
Click on the golden cog icon in the top right corner of the game launcher.
Under SETTINGS - LAUNCHER, select the ABOUT tab. This tab includes the current launcher version, minimum specifications, and information about Game Consultant.
Click the "Game Consultant" button beneath the tool description.
A new window will pop up. When it does, click "Run Tests." This may take a few minutes.
When the test is complete, a new window will pop up saying "Success!" The report saves itself as a text file called Report.txt in the My Documents folder.
To retrieve the file, click the "Open Report Location" button on the Game Consultant window, or click "Open Report" to simply view it.
The Game Consultant is also available for direct download at the following links (add the link in a browser and press Run):

✭Strangely I was running fine in Eyefinity, then I decided to ditch the three screens and just get a single wide screen 29" and NOW I get performance problems along these lines.

I suppose I could be reading it wrong, but when you follow the directions as I listed above under the about menu where you find the game consultant, it says minimum requirements 60GB. You can check for yourself by clicking the settings launcher icon. Now it may be poor positioning by Zenimax and they really mean the game requires 60GB not the game consultant, but if that's the case, why haven't they mentioned so in this thread (b/c they haven't re-visited the thread to monitor feedback)?

✭I tried everything under the sun with customer service to resolve the micro stutter with white quest text and enter/exit quest areas (white doorways).
Nothing worked, I still have the issues and tech support has just stopped emailing me all together. I havent played ESO in two weeks now and I suppose I'll be desubbing even though I love the game. Kinda sucks.Force weapon swap to have priority over EVERYTHING. Close enough.

✭Wanted to update this thread...after downloading the new content patch this issue NO LONGER exists. Problem solved and I did NOTHING but downloaded the new patch. I knew the previous patch was what was causing my problem.Force weapon swap to have priority over EVERYTHING. Close enough.

Agreed. I am no longer getting frame stutter; however I do get lag spikes but not often.0
