Your post is the one coming off as whiny, what with calling others "immature and entitled" like the latter word is some kind of insult. And yea, we can stop paying anytime we like. But you know what happens when enough of us do stop paying? The powers that be do not get enough money to keep the game going, and at best it closes, at worst it goes pay to win f2p.

However, as long as we ARE paying, we most certainly are entitled. We should not have to both pay the games subscription cost AND waste our time farming up gold just to fix our specs when ZO goes and changes and or nerfs them. Especially not when it happens every so often.

Kiddin aside, I imagine most reasonable people figure we should get a free respec in these situations.

I also imagine most reasonable people could see reducing the overall price, or respeccing individual skills and so on and so forth.

Occam's razor - they don't have the ability to get either done, yet. In a world where I told everyone I know how rad ZOS is, they would have that ready to rock, an AH, and a whole laundry list of stuff.

As it is, you just have to accept that they are good at some stuff. Lighting and so forth, and outside of bugs and stuff here and there, engine stuff in general. Solid.

UI? DB stuff? Gotta figure thats not one of their strongest suits, and either be patient about it, relax a little, or if you go all gnashing of teeth play something else a while.

I have serious issue with how ZOS has done respecs in this game. So, for example, after this patch they changed the whole puncturing strikes thing and do not refund that skill point for an ability I morphed weeks ago.... Due to this change from this patch - that is the one and only ability I wish to change now in my entire build... yet I have to pay an entire full respec cost and nuke everything just to change this one, now "new", ability. Each day I become more and more convinced ZOS is run by chimps at typewriters.

Not to mention the fact respeccing has been a concern for players since day one, and ZOS has yet to say one word on it. As usual, they do pick and choose which issues they will comment on, then still turn around and do whatever the hell they want anyway ignoring people's feedback.

I see no reasson why we do not have at least first respec for free.

We have a lot of skill points true, but we for sure made some mistakes along the way. I am not saying that I should be able to respec how ever I wish, but at least make it like wow with free, low cost, and then it started to add up.

I have like 10 points wasted in things I do not use at all. Yes I have a lot of skyshards left to collect (one whole alliance zones) but it is annoying not to have any free skills to level up destro staff(no I am not going to play this set up), I only want every weapon maxed. So far I have resto staff, sword and shield and bow at 48. I wanted to do two handed next, but I need to research training trait for it first. Training is also missing on my dual wield weapons. But all armors are maxed out already :-)

The only reason to respec is to change a morph. You end up with more skill points than you'll need at this point. I have all my weapon skills, armor, misc guild stuff, and 4 crafting lines maxed out..and still have around 40 sp waiting. So if they can figure out a way without breaking everyone just refund the sp for the ability that was changed. But they probably can't. So I demand a cookie.

Its not that mandatory. The only thing I want to see is a separate option just to reset your morphs so you don't have to respec your whole toon. I like to try different morphs out to see how they perform and hell some morphs are still really broken, like Dark Cloak and Shadowy disguise, that I may want to switch until there is a fix.

Anytime they change a skill line they should be giving the affected a free respec. That is just standard in mmos.

More than that though I want to see single line respecs !!!!
Why should I have to reset everything to reset one single skill? And you get charged everything instead of just the one you wanted and actually changed.

Instead of just scrolling down and clicking "I agree" you should probably read the EULA one of these days.


You could ask for one instead of demand one. Then, who knows, they may actually consider it.

You already get a free respec .. as many as you want .. it just costs gold and your credit card won't be charged an extra dime.

I gave a good reason, why a respec is mandatory. And I don't threaten to leave because I know that publishers and developers usually don't care, even if they are in big trouble because of decreasing subscription numbers.

As a matter of fact I might unsub because of the continuing problems with fps drops in Cyrodiil. The PvP is the only thing keeping me in this game and if it is not playable due to low fps I have no reason to pay for an subscription of TESO anymore. I think one can understand this reasoning.

what a surprise, do you have any other way to enforce you demands? I don't think so. Usually before been taken seriously by demands, make sure you can enforce it. There is no real way in that forum to do that. How can they take you seriously. The unsub threat is so common they don't even consider it.
