silver bolts .. one shot frenzy

As I have posted in another thread....

My main is a vamp. I will allow anyone using Silver Bolts to basically one shot me so long as two concessions are met:

    1. No other vamps can use Silver Bolts. Werewolves can because that can be an added perk for them. WW's have it hard enough in Cyrodil as it is.

    2. If/when I feed upon you - YOU become a vampire. Then all of my Silver Bolt spamming friends can one shot you as well. You can cure vampirism the same way I can, however. Leave the campaign, as I must do, and have it cured by a npc.

    Deal?

When they fix this problem, the next headline will be...

Silver Bolts delete my vampire character in 1 shot.

... im a WW Templar by the way. xD

    But i would add/change point 2:
Instead they become Vamps, they become Zombi half/NPC's who attack every player who is not in your alliance, till he gets killed (by you or his own people ^^). But offcourse he is totaly buffed like an vet npc and imune to silver bolts, so it will take a while till he can play again. >:)

And as he works like a summoned pet, you can even controle him like mage does.
Only way to get out of this is to relogg and spawn back to tamriel. B)

edit - can't have that. Better that they are able to attack only their OWN faction. ;)

It is more like killing vampires and ww's not PvP. There should be these things in the game so people play the real classes. Why have it where only vampires rule the pvp grounds. That is very over powered and I really couldn't care less if they removed vampires and ww's from the game totally. Silver bolt should be a 1 shot death. Or on the other hand maybe they should make it that vampire skills and www only have a 5% chance of their abilities to work when activated.

If you really had to aim to the heart of the opponent in ESO PvP like you would have to aim in a first person shooter then i would agree to the 100% deathshot. Currently Silver Shards are a joke, if you morph them to hit multiple targets then you are able to kill instantly 3 Players with one shot. And one more annoying thing is, you can't block the One-Shot.

    @Absinthe Awesome Idea!

I'm pretty sure you only proc on one target, the others get diminished damage and no chance of banish ...

i dont care anymore. Have cancelled and wont be coming back.
i only wanted to play the pvp to begin with and pvp in this game is a joke.

if you want to get ANY exp out of it you nned to group, and group in cyrodiil means "mega death ball where everyone spams x"

Well i dont want to follow an arrow on my screen, while pressing x so ive tried small groups and just solo playing but that wont get me anywhere, no exp and im falling more and more behind sice zenimax think its a bright idea to adjust the level cap every 4 weeks.

I got some exp from the daily kill quest, but those days are over as well. Now you have to kill 20 of a certain kind to finish it.

I guess the zenimax goal here must be a mega mega mega ultra death ball where every person is in the same group/raid.

Silverbolt was just the last straw for me.

Zenimax: You should reward players that actually accomplish something in Cyrodiil all by themself, but it seeems all you want to to is to destroy any kind of solo play.

    Job well done i guess

I like the way this skill makes vampires sparkle ....... Everyone else could see this rant coming as soon as this skill was made to apply to players. Maybe % needs assessing but it is designed as having a chance of one shotting undead for a reason .

I refused to start using a vampire until they fixed the opness of the batswarm and other stuff (I play video games with a weird sense of morality and fairness. I don't exploit or use addons) I try to play the game the way it was intended and judge it from that. Once they fixed that and vampires were more "normal" I have really enjoyed the lore side of it and feeding on npcs. In Cyrodil the only thing that I think is a nice benefit is the faster sneak. As a stereotypical nb (full med, dw/bow) it's pretty sweet. But wow, just got slammed by 2770 from silver shards. That kinda sucked.

Back in April I used the /feedback option to request a boost in the damage inflicted by Fighters Guild abilities against vampires. I am glad ZOS finally implemented one of my suggestions, even if they went overboard. While 3000 damage in one shot may be a bit excessive, 800-1000 per shot with an instant knockdown along with a 5% (or even 10%) chance of an instant death seems reasonable. We are talking about silver and vampires, after all.

If Vamps were OP, then most of the people who cured after the nerf wouldn't have even done so. Most of the people that decided to keep Vamp that I know of, are really good players and know how to make it work. If you take away that main point... really good players, they won't last long since Vamp can be good or bad equally, and it all boils down to the player... just as it does with Non-Vamp.

Noobs finally get easier kills and they are holding onto it for dear life.. lmfao... it's not working as intended and I refuse to use Silver Bolts until it's actually fixed... you'd have to be very lame and desperate to want basically cheatingly glitched XP.

Well, in 5 guilds and 130 friends, there are 3 guildies and 1 friend online. No one wants to play in AvA atm, and I am Vamp so being 1 shot every time you engage a group is getting old. Solo is not to bad, but how ofter does solo turn in group, a lot.
Back to the game after the fix, next week, maybe? When ever....

Let the Full time forum PvP commence.

Aw the glittery girls are crying about the hunters gunning for them now when their bugged skills are fixed and they are not OP anymore xD

I believe because of this attention people are thinking about it more and noticing it more when it happens and does not think about all the hits that landed that did not proc.

    Hehe no.

I'm old school, like the old vamp books and movies. Remember the one where one vamp breaks of his fingers that becomes small demons?

Vamps today however... in so many crap movies are no longer psychopaths. They are simply glittery more powerful humans in so many movies.

In this game however, you see so many cute girls running around, doing quests, helping others. Thus, they are in this game glittery cute wanna be cool vamps but lacks the balls to go for it. They do not follow the old school mo, they follow the glittery cute mo.

If you have done the Vamp quest you would never associate them with Twilight-type Vamps nor if you are familiar with the lore of Vamps throughout ES games.

Yes the more old school ones FTW... however this is much more along those lines. In lore, I prefer Werewolves to Vamps.. but I really like the lore of Vamps in Elder Scrolls. It's dark, it's not good or bad necessarily --- it can be either, both, or neither. It leaves a lot of room for interpretation however it is anything but glittery. As someone who is not usually a fan of Vamps (except for the classics and a few unique pieces) I admit they are pretty cool in Elder Scrolls. Not to mention he blood all around your lower face after feeding is a nice touch by ZOS.

Lmao my non vamp DK gets hit for 750 damage by this skill I am pretty sure it was a crit hit but why does this skill have the ability to crit non vamp/undead types as well as super crit vamps and undeads? This ability is truly pretty damn OP now with no draw backs as it does more then most abilities for less cost even against non undeads.

The whole point of the skill is to be used against the undead this skill should do very little damage or at the most 200-250 damage to non vamp players, but instead it hits players for 450 normally, and it spamable and then can crit hit non undeads as well. So yes the skill is broken in several ways, but thats not surprising Zenimax cant code that many variables into one skill that is just way to difficult for them, they still cant get some passives to work. Heck they still cant figure out why theres so much lag in cryodil.

I've not done the quest for vamp. I decided I wanted to hunt them down instead. Perhaps that's the only old school vampire content there is, sounds cool to do to see it all. However...

    However, my point still stands.

In this game, judging from their behavior, I've only seen glittery vamps.
They are nearly all cute girls.
They think and act like human and agree with the agenda of all npc's that wants their help.
There is nothing about them that stands out in this game to those around them.

So you only approve ugly vampire dudes in game?
And what do you want us vampires to do? Instead of being helpful and do quests to level up, we should just level up by mindless mob grind, just because we should be ruthless vampires?
