PvP is all that I do in this game. I spend most of my time now on wabba jack campaign. You can check my stats there if you wish to see where I stand with other sorceress in Eb. I earned my V12 status playing in AvA, not dungeons. Dungeons offer little incentive and are quickly learned. AvA is different every day and every time you log in. So do I play PVP yes I guess you could say I do. Am I one of the best players, probably not, since I dont play more than a few hours each day, but I don't mind mixing it up with the likes of Alacrity and other such guilds, for it only makes me a better player.
Can you tell me a single game that exists today that allows the number of players on each faction that can be in the same battleground that even remotely approaches ESO? There are none!
As far as WoW, its is much easier to design a game with cartoon graphics than one with realistic graphics and be able to pull it off. WoW is now and was then behind the times as far as graphics quality and content go. If I wanted to play a game that looks like a comic book I would read a comic, but I passed that phase when I grew up! Wildstar is a great disappointment, graphics quality on par with WoW. Not even interested.

yes - like every other MMO at release I have ever played. Jesus you people need to stop rediscovering the wheel every week.

    No.

I just focus on my game and try to have fun the best I can, the only thing I hate its when I find a MAIN story quest bugged, the rest ...I just avoid it.

Don't make me use the F word.

    Yes, I went there.

Wow, this post was meaningful. Glad the post could be edited so that the moderated quote was removed but this post itself in all its contribution and relevance to ESO remains.

I am pointing this out because it shows the skewed moderation. I just know if I posted:
Don't make me use the F word.

    Yes, I went there.

that it would be deleted. I am glad this dude gets to keep his post. Really, good job there.

Fanboy was the word I was going to use btw. Without seeing that guy's quote though it is a bit out of context.

    Thank you for your interest.

Just wondering cause you said the game was lag free. That's why I bolded that part of your quote. Guess you don't pvp on wabbajack?

I'm okay with the sub fee. I'm okay with things being unbalanced and the occasional bug in a new game.

What drives me crazy is their quality control on patches is just not there, it seems. The point of patches is to fix things not break even more in the process. In both of the last two patches they fixed existing problems but introduced a new problem that broke the same thing in another way.

I'm convinced it's because they are doing these massive patches monthly. There are 2 scheduled downtimes per week. Why not use those to fix smaller batches of issues and actually take the time to get them right the first time?

Literally every patch brings more new issues on top of issues.

99% of gamers dont even know what a BETA tester is, or does.
OMG QQ there is a BUG or a GOLD SELLER. Then Quit. its LITERALLY that SIMPLE.
come back in 3 months or 6 months or a year, the game will still be here.
im not exactly happy with the PVE in this game.. i still play.. granted a lot less that i did the first 2 months. but maybe ill come back later when theyve added in some PVE thats challenging or difficult... The PVP is still fun as heck.

would you people rather wait another 6 months to a year, without playing it 3 months ago.
MAN i hate this new imbred generation of WoW baby instant gratification players.
play the game.. its fun.. when it sstops being fun.. QUIT.

This game is three months past release, it shouldn't still have progress-blocking bugs left over from pre-release and each patch shouldn't bring new one.

The "what's broken in 1.2.3" list compiled by some 'green' yesterday' is a testament to the scale of fail .. a patch that was supposed to fix many bugs added a considerable number of its own.

Bug happen in all MMOs, yes, but nothing remotely to the frequency and scale of ZOs efforts.

Have you ever played an MMO out the gate, they are all this way without exception.

Depends what you mean by "this way"

I don't know a AAA MMO that launched without guild permissions for the bank, underwater swimming, a law system, dueling, personal banks, a functional AH(except really old MMOs) (even the guild stores interface is horrid), and many other user friendly tools that are missing.

Also, I have never seen so many design choices done so badly in one game. Especially in the end game.

I see that guild bank permissions is a feature to come. However, can you swim underwater in LOTRO? The Secret World? I personally hate underwater combat, all though GW2 sure has a beautiful underwater scenery. I always avoided Vashj'ir in WoW for leveling my alts. For the world immersion, I see that being able to dive and explore under water should have been there. But not a lackluster to me, really. GW2 did not release with a dueling feature either, not sure if it's in now? I know there are several games where you can't duel. Duel features is OK if you get a feature to auto-refuse. The duel spam in WoW was SO annoying :s Good points, but I don't feel any them puts ESO in a "beta stage" :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Yeah, beta for sure. and i made a post trying to give my feedback and the devs took it as a quit thread and locked it. i dont think i will ever come back now knowing that my well though out feedback was just locked and ignored right away. *** YOU ZENIMAX i typed out a long post for YOU and you ignore and lock it. have fun being the biggest failed and hyped MMO EVER. /endrant

Well, when you write things like:

"I hope to be back in Tamriel soon! Until then, this game not worth 15$ a month, nevermind 60/80(if you actually want the complete game, which also ticks me off as i only ever play imperial race!)"

is it any wonder they rightly viewed it as an "I quit" thread?

    /rolleyes

Yes, you hedged your position but everything else about it was an "I quit" rant, your "This is not an "i quit" thread" not withstanding.

You are correct. The PC version of ESO is nothing more than a Box Sales and Subscription to beta test the Console release. The fact that the Console release was canned for at LEAST a half a year just a month after ESO PC launched proves the point.

If Z/B had any integrity at all, they would have suspended the PC subscription charges until the game was finished enough for Console release.

    But, they have zero integrity.
    None at all.

Thats what I feel more or less. Many people will say Im trolling, but I am not. I'm just saying what I think. When you talk with many people ingame, they say the same. Even some people wanting to like this game and to be successful like me, thinks they are being betatesters.

Well then you have not clearly play so many mmorpg/mmog then for most of them feel like beta after the go live for at lest 6 to 12 month after then have been out take SWTOR it is not until now that game is start to feel like really mmorpg/mmog and WoW was the same at it start and so was AoC it took them almost a 1 year to fix there game.

But i guess most people just want to full work game but fact is the mmorpg/mmog well have problem when the go live and it have to with that people have so many different setup for there computer everything from hardware to software.

AoC, didn't have the budget Beteshda have, nor the fame, nor the fandom base...It is not the same and it is understandable. They didn't have the same resources. Anyway, AoC is the only mmorpg that I liked. I played for 2,5 years. But as every mmorpg...sooner or later, fail.

Not really, I was here in the early days, much as changed, and most online games always seem to have something going on, plus I feel more like a beta tester for my cell phone, and costs a lot more also..LOL
