That makes the auto-loot-option for the game hilarious... for what i should use auto-loot if more then half of the loot is trash...

but if like @Soloeus you are 50 in all the professions why would you be looting creates?
Because once you hit 50 you automatically get all recipes, motifs, etc.

    /rolleyes

So what your saying is because you hit 50 you should not get trash when searching through creates etc.. everyone else be dambed, because it means you need to organize your bag from time to time when using the auto-loot function.

Perhaps you would like a little golden chest just for you which will always drop a recipe, motif, etc every time... It could be like a vanity pet.
I see reading comprehension isn't a strong point of yours .. I said nothing of the kind.

Oh, BTW, the word is damned.

Indeed derived from Damnation, mis-spelling the word just makes you look foolish, it's the meaning that offends not the spelling.

PS not personally offended, takes a touch more than a mis-spelled swearword to offend me.

For those upset that there are trash weapons and armor in the containers now, that was not the intent. Gina confirmed in another thread that this is a bug. It was only supposed to be the items you see lying around.

PS This was also brought up in the PTS forums about three weeks ago. Since it's publicly open now, it's a good place to get a heads up on new changes coming, and to address stuff before it hits live.

Good to know - will be interesting to see how long it takes for them to patch the patch.

@AlexDougherty firstly it's not a swear word or even a little offensive for that matter. Try reading it in context.

What is offensive is being told you look foolish from a small mistake. Here is another word 'Dyslexia' try looking up the meaning of that word and then compare the words Damned and dambed.

I go to a huge amount of effort to hide my mistakes, thanks largely to the power of the internet. Now imagine how I feel when a mistake slips through and every time, and I really do mean every, someone has to call me dumb or stupid.

Edit: You may notice that almost every post I write is edited, why do you think that is? I'm not offended, sometimes I feel I need to explain myself though.

Sorry, I have come across people who spell it that way because they think it's less offensive, I didn't mean to criticise you for dyslexia.

I was very happy when I read this was being added; nerfs aside. Having played last night I picked up everything in sight and deconstructed it. The bonus XP is welcome; and the armour/weapons are usable. In particularly its of benefit to those who enjoy playing naked to avoid having their armour damaged. You can get a full set of decent armour and get rid of it as you go. Kudos ZoS! Thanks for listening. I do consider this to be a version 1 implementation; I think it needs some adjustments: for example not every single item was lootable as I had hoped (but most was).

This is progress in the right direction.

I know, I only mentioned it because you often agree with me and sometimes don't, but have never pointed to my spelling or grammar before. I didn't want you to think I was being offensive. Some things are as simple as cultural differences.

Why on earth would you autoloot? Its not as if it takes that much effort to click E and R. I'm getting more useful drops, not fewer. These boards can be epic whineathons at times.
Not using autoloot opening locked chests leaves you open to be be ninjaed, that's one good reason for it.

@fromtesonlineb16_ESO‌ You do not get ninja'd simply b/c you don't use autoloot. The only way you can be ninja'd is if you step back from the chest as in close either the lockpicking interface or the loot interface without taking all the items. If you are still in a node or a chest or a heavy sack, any waiting players who attempt to interact with it will instead receive a notification that 'Another player is using that' (not exact wording).

The only treasure chests in the game that do not block access from multiple players in this way are the instanced chests in 4-man dungeons. You can't really ninja loot from someone if it's instanced loot in that case.
