I guess this patch really did fix everything if we're down to complaining about this.
Every major patch messes up your addons. This is true of every MMO I've played with addons. Modders will update the ones that need to be updated. The ones that don't need to be updated, you should be able to load as outdated.
I am a TES player and I am not used to atrocious UI since I have always used mods to get rid of whatever atrocious UI the guys from Beth came up with,Because TES players are used to atrocious UIs? -_- Minimalistic style is one thing, but the shotcomings of inventory interface and especially the guild store don't work for anyone.nerevarine1138 wrote: »As for me: I'll better unsub than play at default UI.
That's your problem.
The game is perfectly fine with the default UI. You don't need addons to play, and you certainly don't need 30 of them. More importantly, ZO is not responsible for your addons. They can change their game however they like. It is the responsibility of addon creators to change their addons when needed.
C'mon, you and I both know that there is a very large percentage of the playerbase that would completely disagree that "the game is perfectly fine with the default UI".
Even ZOS knows that the UI is severely lacking and only works for the strictly TES players.

So be happy with it and didn't teach anothers how they need to play.

I also have around 30. Mostly because the standard UI doesnt give the simplest informations. So you actually need em. If you had em once, you never want without em. Its the small Addons about Guild Stores, Inventory etc that makes the amount of installed addons that big.
Some of em are not that important. But most of em should be like integrated into the regular Vanilla UI.
The Vanilla UI also isnt enough for the more hardcore players. Also theres still no Target Dummy ingame to test DPS etc. But thats a different story.
Just because some of you have the opinion that Addons are useless and the standard ui is sufficient, doesnt mean it is for everyone. There are people around that like to play ESO as what it is. A freaking MMO! And thats why so many Addons are needed for these People.
Anyways, just my 2 cents.

@SilverWF Post your error messages on the developers site. I'm sure many of them are hard at work, fixing issues. It will take some time.

I only have the minimap addon and I'm happy. Seriously!
I did most of the content and still I don't see the need to install more addons.
Addon developers maybe?stefan.gustavsonb16_ESO wrote: »Developers unsubbed? That's an entirely new level of rant. Please try a little harder to understand what you read before responding.

I'm using more than 30 addons, I just don't want to check every of them! ><
Especially, if there was no reasons to change API so hardly again.

I have 54 addons, but this is my own business only. You may have more or less - I don't care.
This thread about unnecessary and not documented API changes!

I didn't see a question "how many you have?" in this post
I really look forward to them adding content to the UI so I can start switching third party addons off!vicviper0_ESO wrote: »no. this thread is about you being butthurt because the ESO DEVs did their job by adding content to the game witch resulted in your third party addons no longer working
Sometimes I'm glad I have 0 addons.

Generally speaking it is considered poor business practice to have an API that isn't initially well thought out enough so that it is a constantly moving target. Normally, data items that should no longer be used get deprecated as warning that future releases will likely drop support. I do think ZOS is still doing a fair job with the game, but a little love for addon developers would be nice.
