Since the patch, I no longer see the popup text for accepting quests, advancing them, or finding lorebooks, and all the sound effects have been removed as well!
I would really like to get this back, as I had gotten used to it, and it gives a sense of something happening. Having no update and no sound just feels... broken? Meaningless? I don't know.
But I definitely want it back!

✭✭✭✭✭Still missing/broken after relogging. This CAN'T be right!
Also, horse steps now sound muffled and unrealistic, like I am hearing them through a wall. They were WAY better sounding before the patch.1 -

✭Agreed. The only good thing out of it is that you no longer get the pvp notifications.

✭✭✭✭✭EDIT: Unrelated issue may have been the result of an addon... Still having sound issues after disabling them; sometimes the quest sounds play and give announcements, sometimes not.
