Any confirmation on player crafter jewelery?

    I'd like to see crafted jewelry put into the game. However the fact that there as been nothing said by the Dev's can't really say if it'll be put in or not. Hopefully they do put it in at some point or another, maybe with an expansion like they did with World of Warcraft. We can only hope it gets put in.

    that is not an appropriate inference.
    you can infer he wants to know if someone has read something official and can confirm it.
    you can not infer that he believes it may be true and wants someone else to confirm it, that information is simply not there you made it up.

    i'd say no to the traits tbh, we dont need people getting an extra 4.5% crit :p
    but jewelcrafting would be useful for giving gems more use especially the ones you tend to have to much of like exploring or sprinting.

    Yep, you are right. There are still a few that makes sense for jewelry that haven't been used yet. Aquamarine, Pearl, Peridot, Opal, and Topaz.

    Amethyst! I would totally make a complete set of amethyst jewelery every single even level if I could. Tiger's Eye would look awesome on a Khajiti.     As part of jewelcraft, refining the existing stones could yield "Refined" or "Flawless" versions of the stones. There could even be various levels:

    Common (armor/weapon type) -> Average -> Improved -> Superior -> Flawless

    Each taking X amount of the one before it to have a chance to yield the next grade.

    This would create new items within the game, but would not necessarily require them to come up in loot.
    Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Vendors only sell white level enchants. The difference for a single enchant between white and legendary is modest true, but it makes a huge difference when adding up the difference between a white enchant and legendary enchant on every piece of an entire set of gear.

    also the difference between legendary and white varies greatly based upon the enchantment, for things such as health/magicka/stamina the difference is only 10 or so of each stat, which is minimal at best. However for things such as armour it will more or less double the amount the enchantment gives. As well as this traders only sell limited enchantments, as a dps I find deal magicka damage restore magicka more useful than fire/frost/lightning damage as the absorb magicka means I build up more magicka and can spell spam more than if I had a fire enchantment. Also i can craft a 580 armour or spell resistance (gold vet 7-9 glyph) and have 2.3k armour and spell resistance as a tank wearing heavy armour, making me much more durable than a tank who has health regen (already overcharged due to set and heavy armour bonuses) or reduce feat cost ( not spamming skills as a tank). Where as vendors do not sell these kind of glyphs and even if they did I think a white vet 7 enchant only gives around 250 armour or so

    I haven't found a vendor that sells any kind of resistance glyphs. I'm leveling an enchanter for those alone.

    From sources I unfortunately cannot site, ZOS currently does not have any plans to add jewelry crafting, but it is something they know players want and may add to the game in the far future. Currently there are too many other things on the plate to worry about a new crafting profession.

    I think that makes the best sense but then why aren't items that are found in the game built into the craft system at all?

    Funniest thing is we're discussing this in the German section.
    Actually @Schnee and @Chidora‌ see this as a problem. Especially because of the fact that the blacksmith already has enough things to level.
    Another possibility would be the combination of jewelry and enchanting.
    Enchanters are facing the problems of "slow-skilling".
    Combining jewelry with blacksmiths would only help to level them even faster.
