You're lucky you're able to walk outside during the day and hang out in cities without constantly feeding on the innocent.
Hopefully being stage four will net you a guard slap when the justice system comes out. It pisses me off that stage four vampires can just derp around in major cities.
MornaBaine wrote: »@Whisper292 I totally agree with you. But also as i've said before, there are vampire NPCs that look LIKE NORMAL HUMANS in the game! You don't find out about one of them until you go to his house and find a person on the dinner table! LOL So it makes no sense that player vampires absolutely CANNOT look normal.

The reason I want these clothes in the costume slot rather than as individual pices that are crafted just like armor is because that would really limit what they can do with them as far as style goes. It's actually a lot easier for them to make an elaborate entire outfit by doing it this way. You can have outfits that actually look properly layered as well and perhaps even pull off things like outfits with cloaks. A separate cloak would be toght for them to implement as a single piece garment and wold likely not lay right over other garments. Doing it as a full costume lets the creators actually get creative and gives them the ability to give us some really fun stuff.jockjammerb16_ESO wrote: »I think the drastic change in appearance after only 30 min. is a bit too much. Feed every 30 minutes? What are these vampires diabetic or something? I don't think vampires should ever look "normal" though. Vampires in ESO have always been recognizable to some degree. I think it would be nice to see a slower but drastic change in appearence. Regarding what you call "social clothing" I agree that more clothing should be craftable, shirts, pants, normal unarmored clothing would be great. disguise slot? not so much, just give us normal clothing like any other armor and I'm happy.
I would love to see vampire outfits (so I can know when to use fighter guild skills).

LOL I'd be a little surprised to see someone in Cyrodil decked out like Count Dracula nor am I asking for "vampire outfits." The social clothing but has nothing to do with the vampire appearance bit. Only because these are both basically cosmetics requests did I put them together to save space.

pretty much this. There has to be something negative about being a vampire - the day they make the appearance optional will be a sad day for the elder scrolls.

I think a vampire capable of completly hiding their disease would either be very young ( a few days undead) or amazingly powerful. Either way it would be an exception. maybe a high level skill could be used to conceal but very few would spend a point in that. Perhaps the upcoming justice system could warrent something like that. doubtful. Sorry to say it but Tamriel is not known for shiny happy vampires. You dug your grave now lie in it. (not meant derisivly)

I would LOVE to see stage 3/4 vampires being chased from the towns by the guards! What self respecting town lets the undead wander around and choose its next meal from its populace . The justice system should do more than arrest thieves and drunks , it should protect the people from being someones meal
. Great idea

But it doesn't work that way. At this point, vampires can only feed on hostiles, which they're immediately forced to fight and kill. If a vampire goes into town and has to be run off to protect the people from being a meal, the game should give the vampires the option of feeding on them. I know sometimes I sound like a Skyrim broken record, but in Skyrim you could feed on anyone, and you didn't have to kill them. They could be asleep or be charmed into allowing the feed. If I was able to feed on townspeople, I wouldn't have any problem at all with Stage Three or Four causing NPC hostility because there would be a balance.

Yep. As I mentioned before, my appearance change is drastic even when fully fed. I have tons of extra skill points. Just please game, let me not look grey for even a short time.
I like the idea of a "disguise" for vamps. As soon as the vamp attacks anyone, the disguise goes away.
The disguise mechanic could also be a way to provide social clothing, so that you can easily switch to your "in town" or "visiting royals" outfits without having to switch out every armor slot.

They could cost a skill point each and maybe you'd even have to make them actives instead of passives in that case since you can't have them both on at the same time. I would be totally cool with that though. In regualr tavern type RP it woldn't matter but it's a tougher choice to make when you are out questing in character and do not wish to be recognized as a vampire by your group. So what vampire ability do you give up to look normal? After all, logically you can't feed in front of your companions anyway!
jockjammerb16_ESO wrote: »I guess some of the best vampires are in this forum^^ I agree to all of that. Unfortunately I don't see any of that coming down the line. Too many people would complain if being a vampire had some serious drawbacks like being attacked in town or merchants refusing to trade with them( except a few very seedy merchants) etc. Sadly games are produced for the masses and the masses don't want logical restrictions to things like vampirism.

If they do something like that I hope they address the fact that Khajiit and Argonians look like **** even at stage 1. Otherwise people like me would be stuck spending 2 skill points (ok yeah I have the points to spend, but it is the thought that counts) to look normal while other races could often get away with just the one.
MornaBaine wrote: »I think a lot of people would choose both just to have the options. Since you don't like the stage 1 look YOU are actually the one who would "get way" with only spending one skill point by JUST taking the "normal look" option and bypassing the "permanent stage 1" look.

Oh, I gotcha now. I was picturing it as a skill and then a second stage or morph of the same skill to get the full option. Having two separate toggles for looks makes a lot of sense. *facepalm* I'm just going to go get some coffee now and see if that will jump start my brain. ^.^
