4 to 7 sec lags and freezes out of nowhere!

Game has become totally unplayable for me on the EU server all of a sudden, yesterday evening all was fine and since this morning I get constance 4 to 7 sec freezes incl sound going away. Makes doing anything near impossible other then crafting or admin work. I have had these lags now and again but never so often every 90 to 180 secs the lag/freeze sets in.

First port of call should be your ISP and look at your traceroute, as no one else seems to be reporting this so more likely than not it's down to internet problems.

I got sum lag (when I am running for longer time) to and it is not my isp I got a 60/60mb fiber. it look like a sync problem I am waiting for the server to sync with my client

Given that your sound stops as well, I am sure that it is a pause on the client (not network or server).

Make sure that nothing else is running, and maybe even bump up the priority of the eso.exe process in task manager. It might be that your PC is trying to do something like load updates, or run an antivirus.

My game freezes for a few seconds if BOINC resumes running (a CPU intensive background task, I pause it before starting ESO but it will automatically restart after an hour).

There is a general problem with high latency on the EU server at the moment which will most likely only get fixed when they move the server to a European data centre. Sadly there's still no ETA on when this will happen.

I don't think this is anything to do with network latency, it sounds more like a client freeze. In any case, I'm from the EU as well, playing on the NA server, no obvious network latency. I think what you're seeing is probably server latency (usually in cyrodil), or a local client freeze.
